Partially right, but no body just invstes for the sake of getting the benefit of stock split. It's what we get when the company in which we invested splited it's stock. 😊
i think how company get benifit because company take fund only one time when company listed but then why they interrupt this share because when they split or not split the share, they will not gain any fund so why they interrupt in and what's benefits.🤔 please give me answer sir i am still confuse 😐

Does this also means that the average buy price of my stock will also get proportionally reduced in the split ratio? For example, if I bought 10 share for ABC in 4000 (for each stock) and now the stock split happens, I will own 50 (10*5) stocks of ABC but the cost of that would be 800 (4000/5) ?
