About the Video:
The confusion between bonus shares and stock split is very common. People frequently get confused on how the shareholders get additional shares in both the concepts, how do they affect the stock’s price and how does it affect the balance sheet of the company? Moreover, it is also fascinating to understand how the stock split leaves the market capitalisation of a company unchanged. In contrast, the company has to pay out of their reserves for the bonus shares it allots to the shareholders. In this video, we have covered the concepts of bonus shares and stock split in Hindi. very aptly explained sir. but one query is though as a investors we don't get much benefit from it , but one thing you forgot is that we get dividend compared to earlier as now our quantity is increased than before.

But the dividend is now being split into more number of shares. So though the number of shares have increased, the dividend per share will be less as compared to before bonus. So overall it remains same as before. Correct me if I am wrong. I am learning.

Ek mistake jo shayad apse skip ho gaya ho, batana chahunga. Effect of split on shareholders equity, batate samay screen par before bonus and after bonus likha hua hai. Jo ki shayad before split and after split likha hua hona chahiye tha.
