Would have liked to grow up in the 60s, ima decade later and that was awesome, just imagining the time, everything is the greatest the first time. I don't know why but I kind of feel today's generation are missing out. But I heard Steve Jones say everyone thinks the era they grew up in was the best. ❤

We were truly number one in the world! The United States manufactured the coolest cars, televisions, console stereos, transistor radios, the coolest television shows, the greatest sports heros! You see, World War II didn't affect the mainland of the United States. Hawaii was the only State to be attacked. We were in a great position in the world. Musically, here in Los Angeles, California, we listened to AM Radio 93 KHJ.Boss Radio was the station we listened to. Everything was in glorious Mono!

The first record I ever owned was The Beatles I Want To Hold Your Hand b/w I Saw Her Standing There on the American Capitol label.
I must admit that there were heartbreaks with the assassinations, racial riots and the Vietnam War.
Amazingly, Pop/Rock music was so positive and it helped us through the difficult times.
I wish I could go back!

That footage doesn't match the sound. John didn't even show up anymore in the later years of The Beatles. He never treated George as an equal. (Neither did Paul, but Paul at leaat gave his best for every song George brought in)

Como el que dijo que Pink Floyd es mejor.... yo pienso en Queen...🤔pero tengo que darle el crédito definitivo a los Beatles aunque no me gusten del todo, ( prefiero mucho más Queen, Pink Floyd es bueno pero casi que habría que drogarse para disfrutarlo, yo pensaría) me doy cuenta que sí, ¡los Beatles son la más grande! por ser los predecesores de una calidad enorme e indiscutible. Y a su vez ellos le deben al más grande solista de la historia: el maravilloso " Rey" , Elvis Presley.

Stimmt, selbst als Mann würde ich sagen, dass er des bestausehende Beatle war. Ringo bischen nicht so hübsch aber sympathisch nicht so hübsch. Paul zu dackelig, allerdings musikalisch nahezu perfekt und John, ja John nicht der hübscheste aber mit Sicherheit der coolste Obermacker der vier.

I had forgotten how beautiful Linda was and how in love they were. He’s still alive and carrying on even after losing her. A lot of men would have self destructed.

Dylan was so unique then and now.Harrison and he had such mutual respect . If you listen to Dylan’s music before his friendship with George Harrison, and afterwords, there was a big difference, and much of that was owed to what Bob Dylan described as “George’s innate encyclopedia of guitar chords.

This goes to show how George Harrison is performing for the other 3 Beatles and he's showing them that he's very talented as a musician and a person.
My swimming instructor at camp looked just like linda. I heard her in dressing area talk about paul about how crushed she was that he was engaged to jane. She must have been thrilled that he picked a girl that resembled herself. Years later i did have encounter with linda at record store. She remained beautiful all those years after. Glad for both p&l.

Exacto, aquí no hay ningún argumento válido de los Polbelievers , por eso George se sintió mucho más ignorado por McCartney que por Lennon - debió haber sentido que Paul estaba más interesado en ver si le ganaba a John en estar más enamorado de su respectiva nueva pareja (Linda vs Yoko), neta qué incómodo. Si hubiera sido verdad eso de la subordinación, George nunca hubiera aceptado participar en el álbum imagine de Lennon

George really had a good voice. His best days vocally we're probably over when the Beatles broke up. Because of smoking I think it took a toll on Georges voice just after All Things Must Pass. If he could have gotten more of his songs on Beatle records we could have heard more singing from George. RIP George.

I don’t know, she was beautiful for Paul, I think George’s wife Patty Boyd and Ringo’s wife Maureen Starkey were way better looking then, Linda, but Yoko Ono was uglier than Linda for sure.
In my book, Yoko was also beautiful. I enjoy watching her in Get Back DVDs. Yes, Patty Boyd was beautiful. So was Jane Asher. I wish them well.
