90% of people live on credit in the UK
Use a credit card but buy things u need like grocery and always pay back to avoid a debt trap which people get caught up in.

Thanks for the information. You mentioned high interest credit cards. Can you give an example of where to apply for such and is there a risk of denial for it if one's score is fair and will this denial involve a hard search which will further affect credit score? Also is there a need to wait 3mths after a bank credit card denial to apply for this particular type of credit card?

Been persistent and researching helps to get a mortgage, even when you have short falls in credit history, it only means u may get higher interest rates but with a good history , you get favourable competitive market interest rates in your mortgage.

Very Informative, Credit Patch-Up LLC Tradelines changed my life. By getting more tradelines, I was able to improve my use of credit ratio without having to do anything. This motivated me to get my negatives off, make sure all of my bills re on auto-pay, and brought my credit up from mid 5s to +780. I highly recommend you work with them if you looking to clear off all debts and get your credit fixed, because they most certainly work for you.(CONTACT@CREDITPATCHU. COM)

Congratulations on your first house, I am a British citizen, with over 18years living in the UK, working and paying my taxes, i still haven't bought my first house which i have been saving for the best part of 10 years, i don't particularly have a good credit score, average i would say, but that shouldn't prevent me from getting a mortgage considering the amount of financial transactions I have made whilst living in the UK.
I feel it's very unfair that Mortgages are given to visa holders who haven't been in the country that long, yet British citizens are been denied mortgages because of an average score.
Let me know your take on this.
