ok, i think i have a better understanding of vinyl. thanks! i'm considering purchasing a cricut so i can add vinyl wall art to my kids restroom, there are some images that have two colors or more which would mean two layers of vinyl? do you have any videos on this?

Hi! I am about to buy a Cricut but, I am still a bit confused about how to use the vinyl. I want to transfer multicolored clip art to acrylic. Do I just print it on to clear vinyl and then use the transfer tape to adhere it to my project? If so should I use Cricut’s brand or another manufacturer? What about fabric? Sorry for so many questions🙂

Hi Briana! If you have a handful of colors, you can layer single-color vinyl (heyletsmakestuff.com/layer-vinyl-using-transfer-tape/). If you have a ton of colors, you might want to try printable vinyl, though it is not washable (heyletsmakestuff.com/how-to-use-printable-vinyl/). On fabric, you'll use iron on vinyl (heyletsmakestuff.com/how-to-use-cricut-iron-on-vinyl/) or printable iron on (heyletsmakestuff.com/printable-iron-on/). I have recommendations for types of vinyl in each of those posts. Hope that helps!
