    So cool and appropriate that NY Eddie lives in Venice... On my first visit to California as an awestruck 17 year old bean pole we got lost and I asked a buff dude (not Eddie) working in his yard directions. I was under the impression that every one who lived in Venice Beach lifted.

    Still have an old Muscle Digest that had an article on Eddie working out with big Jake Seinfeld!!!

    Great interview. Mr. Giuliani is a great story teller with a great sense of humor. Need more interviews with Mr. G ...with this pandemic ...Skype it! ...or use some other video/audio software to communicate remotely.

      The world was introduced to the great Mr. G when he jumped into the arms of Arnold in Pumping Iron and Arnie said “Sick guy!” You can tell how much fun they had together as friends. How I wish I had that atmosphere at my local gym😂

      @@stephenwilliams5633 Yeah, would like to see more of the neighborhoods in Venice Beach and various areas where the older bodybuilders lived and live now. I visited in the late 60's and it was all fascinating. Funny thing, I had always dreamed of California as perfect. But shocked when I stuck my hand in the ocean and the water was freezing cold. Just like life, nothing's perfect....lol.

    Great to hear how money destroys everything

  • @mariogiresi6792
    @mariogiresi6792 ปีที่แล้ว

    When I look at their lifestyle it seemed easy-breezy and eating was fun. I look at the bodybuilding culture of today and everybody seems intense, serious, and dieting sounds like it brings misery and drudgery to the individual😂These are just observations not facts.

    Most of todays BB wont make it past 50 - Rich Piana is an example. Arnold had the money for super first class by pass surgery, otherwise...

    • @shack7631
      @shack7631 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Arnold's heart surgery was to correct a faulty pulmonary valve that he was born with. It was the same condition which was the cause of his mother's death.

      It was the best, and I never tire of hearing about it.......Dreamland. If you didn't get killed in Nam like some of my friends did, the 70's were a magical time.

      @Re nato 24,000 American soldiers lost their lives AFTER the US decided to get out of Vietnam. And 80 percent of their Search and Destroy missions led right into an ambush. That's what happens when you go into a jungle war and don't have a clue what you are doing. Kennedy had planned to pull our troops out, but Johnson trusted his top general, Westmorland, who was incompetent. It was just an all round mess in every way.

    • @carpediem6568
      @carpediem6568 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Re nato Yeah, South Vietnam more Catholic and French influenced. Seems many countries have a north south civil war. We did in the US.
