holy fuck when i close my eyes listening to this i melt into the universe appreciating the endless array of darkness and stars and feel like my existence is paused for the length of the song.
this my first time hearing this and I can play this over and over again.
I'm here accidentally. I was looking for seaside by the kooks. but I like this😄
When i imagine listening to this song.
A girl is walking to the trash can (they're in school) while watching her boyfriend and best friend flirting she shakes her head looking down, then she feels someone hand on her waist and a cool breath on her neck then all of a sudden a boy starts saying "weightless we hold ourselves we're breaking down on the ledge, and if you don't know why" he thens tighten his hand on her waist and look towards her boyfriend and says "and if you can't tell him...and if your old heart is fading we can make for the seaside."
Then it shows her walking in the class room picking her notebook up then when she opens it she see a note that says "runs to our lungs cave in," then it shows her turning the page and finding another that says "tell all the worse lines, wait to they sink or swim".
Then It shows her boyfriend siting next her when she gets a text that says "we can make for the seaside, run to our lungs cave in tell all the worse lines wait to they sink or swim" he asks whos that and she says no one while smiling.
And through the little part where hes not singing anymore it shows her in a classroom by herself writing on the bored then she feels someone behind her so she turns around and see him agian he starts saying "breathless,we count our falls...the ones we lived the lies we loved. And if you can't see it and if you can't tell me and if your old heart is fading" and right at the seaside part she pushes him away with a gasp because her boyfriend was walking in the class. And then it shows a part where she's at her locker opening it and sees a note thats says "run to our lungs cave in, tell all the worse lines (worse line) wait till they sink or swim" she then looks in the mirro in her locker and see him there smirking so she closes it and looks at him. He comes close to her and says "we can make for the seaside" and then she repeats "seaside" he goes on "Run to our lungs cave in, tell all the wose lines (worse lines...she repeats this part in confusion)" he gives her a note saying meet me in the caft and before he leaves he says "wait to they sink or swim".
He meets her and grabs her hand leading her somewhere and he says "will you catch me if i fall to hard, will you keep your hand on my heart" he then walks her to where she sees her boyfriend and her friends kissing then he says "I can-split the sky into two..so i can hold on, hold to you" he hold out his hand and she takes a deep breath and at the "we can make for the seaside" mark she grabs his hand.
He smiles and starts walking away from her boyfriend who is trying to say sorry and shocked best friend.
Now they're both in the gym laying down together and hes saying "we can make for the seaside" and she repeats back "seaside", now they're laying in the grass watching the sky when he says "run to our lungs cave in" she repeats back to him "cave in" while looking into his eyes.
Now theyre on a beach watching the sun go down when he says "we can make for the seaside" she looks at him and repeats "seaside" he then smiles and says " we can tell all the worse lines wait to they sink or swim" now theyre walking to and just having fun when he says "we can make for the seaside side" she repeats back "seaside" he then says " run to our lungs cave in" she repeats "cave in" he says "tell all the worse lines (she repeats back worse lines), wait to they sink or swim(she repeats or swim)" then he saya "we can make for the seaside" she repeats back "seaside" he then says "run to our lungs cave in (she repeats back cave in)" he then says "we can tell all the worse lines (she repeats worse lines) wait to they sink or swim (she repeats or swim)" he then says "we can make for the seaside (she repeats back seaside) run to our lungs cave in (she repeats cave i)" he then says "Or tell all the worse lines (she repeats back worse lines) wait to they sink or swim" when she repeats back "swim" she opens her eyes to find that shes in the same position from earlier when he first walked up behind her. (She imagined what could happen when he was saying to her what they can do.)
