I remember listening to this in 2016 as I studied for my exams. I return every couple of months to listen. Listening now I feel very nostalgic and a bit sad, I think back to 2016 when I was at school not worrying about anything, and all my friends lived close. Now, my friends are all over the place studying at uni, travelling etc. I'm glad everyone is out there getting on with life but I definitely miss those days! I will never stop returning to this mix!

During lockdown, while staying at my parents' house in Devon, I listened to this mix frequently. Having just graduated from university, I felt completely lost. To escape the loneliness, I became obsessed with long-distance running and cycling, and I remember playing this mix a couple of times a week for months. This is the first time I've listened to it in three years. Since then, my life has moved forward: I worked in London for 2.5 years and recently moved to Arizona. Music has always been my coping mechanism for life's stresses. To anyone who is struggling, just keep pushing on and working to better yourself. Don't give up!

The world today is abundant with reasons for us to want to just get away. However, as long as music promoters like Majestic continue to exist, we will always have a sanctuary to Escape Everything.

He can easily get that info from youtube's analytics tools, but he does it this way because more comments = more engagement and thus youtube's algorithms will favor his video. Also it makes people believe that something great is coming in the video and makes them listen longer.
Also the longer people listen the more likely they are going to hear songs they really like, resulting in more views on their other videos. Very smart strategy :) Also a funny idea.

I few years ago I was not having the greatest time of my life for various reasons. I would hop on my Yamaha R6, play this playlist, and just ride through the mountains for HOURS...it was a nice escape. But eventually, I had to face the bullshit I was dealing with head-on. Escape wasn't the answer BUT the music was good!

I few years ago I was not having the greatest time of my life for various reasons. I would hop on my Yamaha R6, play this playlist, and just ride through the mountains for HOURS...it was a nice escape. But eventually, I had to face the bullshit I was dealing with head-on. Escape wasn't the answer BUT the music was good!
