This is the greatest hubris present in these so-called superheroes. Take Batman for example. How much death and destruction has his 'no kill' policy resulted in? This 'no kill' rule is self-serving; I would love Batman, the Flash, etc. to explain their 'no kill' policy to the families of the victims of the villains they refuse to kill. Batman refuses to kill the Joker - he incarcerates him, and the Joker escapes, leaving behind a body count. At what point does he become complacent in those deaths? *sigh*

I didn't even care by the end of the next episode, that's how fast they moved on to the next emotional dynamic for the group to go through.
