    Hello. To be clear: The customer will still be able to download the protected .ACD files and use it normally, correct? We are looking a solution to deploy ACD files but don't want to allow the end user to be able to view / change / force tags etc. Basically, similar functionality to the Service Edition, which is no longer available? - Thanks.

      @davh1624: if you don't allow the end user to even view the program, you should lock the whole program. This method with what I showed in the video still allows end users to download and at least view the program for troubleshooting and learn the logic. Thank you for your support to my channel.

      @@SYPHOANGThanks for the reply. Lets say we do let the users view the program. We just don't want them to be able to edit the logic nor edit tags, flip bits etc. This should suffice, yes?

      @davh1624: Yes I think it is what you need. But make sure you keep the sk.dat file safe, never lose it. Without it, the program will be locked forever. Another thing is do not ever try to rename the file. If you do it, the file will be corrupted and can't be restored.

      @jdlf3712: Thank you for your support to my channel. In order to remove it, first you have to have the right .dat file in you computer. I guess you are just trying to unlock it without the source key from the owner.

      @@SYPHOANG right this company left and some routines in plc program are blocked and I need access for troubleshooting. What can I do?

    • @SYPHOANG
      @SYPHOANG  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @jdIf3712: It really depends on how the owner set up the protection. If you are lucky, the owner might allows program view and upload. For troubleshooting, you can upload the existing protected PLC program and do "cross reference". You are just not allowed to make changes or modifications on the locked/protected subroutines. That's what the source key is for. Hopefully this is helpful for you.

      @@SYPHOANG thanks You for your answer but this guys really blocked, I can't see what is inside the logic of the subroutine. As You said, before I've watched other blocked programs and I was able to see what is inside the logic for troubleshooting but not to modify, but this time is not the case, is really blocked.

      @jdlf3712: Unfortunately, getting the source key from the owner is the only option for you now. That is what the protection is for. Hopefully you can reach out and get it from him/her. Otherwise, I really don't think you have any other options to break into his/her program. Good luck.
