Awesome! You tweaked everything to fit! Sometimes improvising is the only method. Good on you Richie! Makes you feel good to take it out & all works perfectly.

G'day mate : am rebuilding a 3.2lt Turbo deisel triton.... superior engineerings gear in the land of Oz is top shelf and a lot of boys running GU's 60 and 90 series some cut down into what we call dirty 30's all run supers gear.....
Nisson Toyota are most popular upgraders ( truks that manage laws around mods and can take the big mods easily so cheaper to build ....for like grade 5 an above tracks out here..... not to say that there are not some pretty sick rigs getting around outside of the above named......
Anyway love us stuff richy keep telling it how it is.......
Load a clip of testing or was that fitbit at the end all we get...... Rrrriichy that's not you bro go find a mountain...... 😜🤪😎

Also, I wonder if the things you had to tweak, grind and modify are because you're in America and therefore left hand drive? Given these arms are designed and manufactured in Australia for right hand drive applications. Hooping I don't have to do any grinding and modifications to fit mine.

    Hey Richie,
On your old Superflex setup... which bushings wore out faster... the Superflex style arm or the OEM style arm? I'm just trying to thing ahead on my superflex setup. Also... can you describe which mount your stole from the drivers side? I'm running my superflex style arm on the passenger side of my rig and am looking to make something to replace the hard mount that I pulled out.

Hey Richie could u help out a old lady? Some advice. I have a 95gmc I had to get heads redone n when we took them off(me n my young son) we took the power steering box n pully off with the head. I dont have many tools plus there was not much room for nothing. Well we got ot back together all except this pully. Trying to figure out how we could get it back on if nothing else to hold to drive it about 8 miles to a shop n have it put on snuggle r to drive on a trailer n I could drive it down to a shop n get it on. Jad a time with setting timing. These news have a little trick up their sleeve I mean dash! Once I googled it n found it out had no problem she cranked right up. Been working for several weeks. I'm disabled n dont have much strength in joints n spine well several surgeries on it. I raise 2 grandchildren n I have 6 ladies (childrens) that r in need of some hay! We need that truck going like yesterday. Could use some advice r some tricks of the trade! Anyone? Much appreciated!I did have a air tank but a small hole rusted through it n not sure if maybe some seal all would hold to stop it up. N no my son didn't have a father figure to teach him. He learned what he knows on his own which is a great way to learn. Maybe differ circumstances maybe. Anyway have a great day looks like fun!

That's some nice hardware! Got a question.....I have heard you say your rig weighs upwards of 8000 lbs.. Doesn't all that extra weight make it harder for the tires to get a grip to pull it all up? Would be nice to know......AL.

Did you ever sort out the vibrations you initially had with the hyperflex? I've considered trying one or both of the arms out.

How dose it run I have the one super flex arm on a 5.5 lift on my 91 and was wondering why they didn’t do a 2 arm option. I can stuff both front tires to the frame but feel like the droop is limited dose this help?

    • @jailbreakoverlander
      @jailbreakoverlander  4 ปีที่แล้ว

it does, BUT I testd these out and I still pull a tire on pretty modest stuff.

    My 87’ FJ-60 needs a new home mechanic 👨‍🔧
It’s a Great Tonka (3-FE) with anti-inversion suspension and Helwig HD Solid Axle Spring-Kit Plus 3-inch Lift and AT-33’s.
Needs a new battery and the refurbished Fuel Tank⛽️ installed.
It has truly been amazing where it goes I am just not up to reinstalling the fuel tank and I’ve got another Rock solid 4 x 4 #DailyDriver that I’ve modded.
I’m in NorCal, about 100 miles North of San Francisco.

👍thanks for this video. I did a 3.5 spring lift from Dobinson a couple of years ago. I used the offset bushings. Do you think I will eventually need to switch the arms out for this set up?
