He is a good tail man his job is to keep the board in control you must have an experienced person at that position if he would let the board touch the back of the saw it could go over top of sawyer toward sawyer

We’ve just been so busy with circle mills haven’t got into the band …. I’ve built several carriages and the customer put band head rigs on them
From a safety perspective, shouldn't that helper keep his hands off the cut off until it's free of the main log?
