    This is the only Crappie Channel I've found that gives thorough details from A-Z. Love the channel!

      I was listening to a podcast crappie connection they said many time they will start using the as early as one day. But I’m sure the more time the more productive they can be. Good luck I’m just looking into this myself

    What did you use to weigh the branches and trees down?

    When you kick off your buckets do they automatically stand up when they hit bottom? Also any tips for setting boat back up over brush like where are you positioned when you put in its waypoint?
    Thanks

      I would have attached some gallon jugs /bottles (with lid)to the wood to keep it standing up

    Great video, thanks for the info. I have a place on a reservoir lake and it gets current at certain times depending on the rains. I want to put some stuff out in the main lake, have you placed anything out in current areas and had it stay put? There isn't any large feeder creeks very near me.

      Yes I have. As long as you put plenty of weight on it, you should be fine.

    Hello Matt, do you ever get push-back from TWRA or dock owners regarding brush that you have placed (or while you are placing it)?

    • @WiredforCrappie
      @WiredforCrappie  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I personally have not. But I try to be extremely respectful of docks and boat lanes. I personally don’t place structure within 50 ft of any dock. I would hate to think someone could jump in and get hurt due to me wanting to fish. Plenty of other area to put structure.

    are those 5 gal buckets and how much cement do you put into them?

    If you put PVC pipe in the water for fish, do you have to rough it up

    • @WiredforCrappie
      @WiredforCrappie  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You don’t have to. Algae will eventually grow on it. If you do rough it up, algae will grow faster.

    It's a good idea to put a small fish attractor in a new area, to see if it holds some fish. If it doesn't then don't waste your brush on this spot. Some spots will never hold fish.
