I turned 19 and those buffet prices. Pay at least 10 times more and way less items. Also coffee, tea, milk, juice and pop were included. Not today's standards.
Lunch for $2 dinner $5 😮I went to Vegas in 1983…I was only 17 but never got carded. I was even asked on stage to assist David Copperfield with one of his illusions 🥰
That was the first time I drove to LV by myself. 1972 was with my parents. Good memories from 1983. Free screw drivers (mixed drink) at The Dunes that summer. Silver Slipper Casino gave free cigarettes to all players at the black jack tables.
Back when it was a special getaway that didn't break your bank account down to $0. Spent at least 4 visits here in 1982 - 83 while in the Air Force from California and explored the non-gambling attractions for minimal $$.
That groovy 1970's porn music in Las Vegas in 1983. I remember that Japanese themed casino, Imperial Palace and the very futuristic Landmark too when my gambling grandma brought me as a teen. It sucked. But there were cut rate videogames in the arcade. And now seeing that again, at 1:57 LOL The pawnbroker's sign. 3 spheres. I did actually see one person trying to sell a gold chain inside a casino, I believe it was Vegas World.
❤ That White 70’s Lincoln Town Car going by changing lanes at 3:08. Advertising win a 84 Caddy Seville at 3:03 why the Hell that those Caddies in the early 80’s where ugly as Hell and look like suite cases !😂. Should have been win a 84 Lincoln Town Car!
Thanks it brings back so many memories...wish the old days were back. ❤
music made it that much better
❤ was class of 1980. Whet to Las Vegas. With friends. In 1983 with friends. We saw some good concets. Miss the 80s Las Vegas.
Love seeing the old Vegas. Check out those food prices 😳. Nice new C4 Vette at 2:04. Turned 18 that year. Can't believe it's been 40 years.

Anyone remember Ted, Ned and Freds arcade?
OLD VEGAS>NEW VEGAS. Miss the Alladin
Hardly any foot traffic. Obviously before they ruined it with the family friendly.
And somehow even though it had just been built, Circus Circus still smelled and looked like shit😂😂😂
When the mafia were still in town !
