My dad did a lot of construction on the casinos. 🎰 bellagio stratosphere circus circus and so many more im a born and raised local my dad knew what he was doing when he moved to Vegas in the 80s ! Seeing Vegas grow and grow through the years is something I'll never take for Granted VIVA LAS VEGAS 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎰🎰🎰🎰
The irony. Back in the 90s, people thought of "old Vegas" as the 1950s and 60s, the Rat Pack days. 80s Vegas was seen as shit, then the Mirage opened in 1989 and after that Vegas started modernizing and coming back from the dead, to the place it is now with multiple resort hotels.
First time to Las Vegas was January 1989. Returned in 91,93 and 1995. Been going annually since 1997. Can’t believe it’s been more than 30 years since 1993 because it seems like yesterday.
Thanks for that. Love it. Arrived in Las Vegas in 1993 straight from the French Foreign Legion. Myself and friend of mine, a fellow soldier. 24 and 22 years old.
I was born in August of that year 1993 lol I’m 30 and live in las Vegas now from being born in Chicago,IL it looks like a whole different world lol 😅😂❤
“The town will never be the same. After the Tangiers, the big corporations took it all over. Today it looks like Disneyland. And while the kids play cardboard pirates, Mommy and Daddy drop the house payments and Junior's college money on the poker slots. In the old days, dealers knew your name, what you drank, what you played. Today, it's like checking into an airport. And if you order room service, you're lucky if you get it by Thursday. Today, it's all gone. You get a whale show up with four million in a suitcase, and some 25 year old hotel school kid is gonna want his Social Security Number. After the Teamsters got knocked out of the box knocked out of the box, the corporations tore down practically every one of the old casinos. And where did the money come from... Junk Bonds”.

Q: The most interesting part of the video?
A: Being able to drive on the strip at a decent speed with relatively little traffic.
