Read your Bible and The Lord Jesus will speak to you. Try to prove it wrong if you want, but if you will read it and study you will see. The reason the whole world seems to be crazy is we are in the last days. A whole lot of what is going on now was predicted in the Bible. Do you know about the 5 red heifers without blemish that have been brought from Texas to Israel so they can be sacrificed for the building of the 3rd Temple. The Bible predicted there would be a modern country of Israel and 100 years ago many people thought that was impossible. But I serve The Almighty YAHWEH and nothing is impossible with Him!!!PRAISE THE LORD!!!

One of the issues I have with Eric Weinstein is that he will say something completely unclear, and then just sit there and act like you should totally know what he is talking about, and then you have to prod him to get an explanation to some arcane point he is trying to make.
American political parties are a -troth- trough (apparently I can't spell) .

I was once in dire straits as a young mother newly divorced. I had no idea how difficult it would be to provide for myself and my child. Without a college degree I would never gain employment enough to take care of our basic needs. I tried. I collapsed, and I went on social assistance. After about two months I realized the only way up is to be independent of handouts because NOTHING is free. The assistance I had was a form of slavery. Meaning, once you are in the system they keep you there. Do you hear that? There is no pathway out except for your own blood, sweat and tears. They know it. We know it. People on the dole have no reason to get off, even if they have less. Why? Because they are certain of the daily dose, just for doing nothing. I got up and out and I raised two successful and well educated children with my husband of 25 years. People who will take the free stuff are happy slaves. I will live free or die hard trying.

He told the story of how his brother was robbed of a nobel prize. Great storytelling and technical explanation of the significance of the discovery. He also figured out very early on that Epstein, the CIA and Mossad all appeared to be acting together. And his basis for that conclusion was his own observations of the structure of Epstein's back office in relation to the hedge fund he allegedly ran. Eric is a subject matter expert there and figured out it was obviously a front. It's a brave question to ask as it implicates two nations he presumably cares about. Suggests he cares about the truth more than tribalism.

You don't really think they are that much smarter than the other kids do you? When I was younger did 4 years in the Air Force then got out and went to college. The people in college were not in any way smarter then the people I met in the military. Ones Daddy could write a check, the other one could not. But smart enough to join the military and learn about the world beyond the Hayfield or your 'Hood. The smarter kids I met in college were aware of it. You're not alone in this opinion.
I like the general ideas this guy brings up but he comes off as such a conceited "I know things neither you nor anyone else knows" narcissist that I can hardly stand listening to him. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt - maybe he's well meaning but simply can't communicate. Regardless, I don't find him worthy of attention.
First and foremost, he is NOT a good communicator and, in fact, comes off as incoherent at best and arrogant at worst. Sure, he has some good ideas and seems to be a contrarian by nature (I am too), and yeah maybe you could argue what he's doing is using "metaphor" but why? Why not simply speak plainly for people to understand. Why be so cryptic? Why be so obtuse?
He's speaking this way to be more theatrical or to come off as being "deeper" than he really is. He's not this being who's just so smart he's thinking on a level beyond what us plebians can understand, he's just a guy who can't seem to communicate intelligibly.
Many of his sentences are just empty and lacking in genuine content. He simply hints at possible things, gives cryptic responses, or just babbles incoherently. Yes, he makes some interesting points but a lot of it is incoherent rambling and, I'll chance a guess, confabulation.
It's not that I or others didn't understand what he might've been trying to say - we're all likely intelligent enough to understand the general picture. But it's the way he goes about it that raises red flags for so many of us.
In fact, I would wager serious money that the more intelligent and/or educated one is, the higher the likelihood they would find Eric Weinstein to be an unreliable source of information.
I'll also add, as mere testimony, that I've known people like this - if you're seeing something special, I'm sorry to say it's likely smoke and mirrors.
Mr. Weinstein: Stop pausing for dramatic effect so much as if we're just hanging on every word you say. You're not the smartest, richest, wisest, sexiest, most educated, most interesting or most accomplished person who's been on this podcast.
Again Mr. Weinsein: You're just one of many who may have some interesting perspectives and ideas to present but that's it. Just say what you mean, give your honest opinion without all the theatricality, and have a real, genuine conversation.

It's really sad. I am German, living in the UK, but I deal with public officials in Europe and the US quite a bit and the one thing that unites them is that they just seem utterly incompetent and useless. I have absolutely 0 trust in any government official or justice system... I don't know how I can when every time they open their mouths or make a decision, it's just so utterly stupid.
How can the German chancellor stand there in the second half of 2020 and speak to 84 million Germans on TV and make the statement that vaccine mandates are inhumane and he does not support them and they will not become law... and 6 months later the same man stands in front of the cameras, speaking once again to 84 million Germans and says that he has always been in favor of vaccine mandates and keeps going on about how they are unavoidable and definitely have to become law... how am I supposed to take someone like that seriously?
How am I supposed to take a UK prime minister seriously who doesn't know how much the average person earns, how much bread is, how much the average house in London costs?
How am I supposed to trust a supreme court in Germany that consists entirely of elected party or former party members of the current leading government party?
How am I supposed to trust a court that claims that saying that men cannot be women is hateful speech and people should go prison for expressing it, while forced medical procedures are totally fine by claiming that "you haven't lost your basic liberties, you are just not allowed to practice them (temporarily)"?
I just think the public sphere in the Western world is a complete clown show. I struggle to take any public official seriously because they all just strike me as narcisstic a**holes who couldn't give less of a s*it about the population or the country.

@TiGGowich I don't have a way out I have found a way through that works for me. To give some context,I worked with Kenyans (Indigenous, Indian heritage and British heritage) for about 12 years. I travelled there numerous times. I met some marvellous people, but also knew that there were those I found I didn't trust, and all in between - much like anywhere, I suppose. I ended up dedicating 10 years to one particular group, the Kenana Knitters. The lady who founded the group once said to me 'we can't help everyone, but we help who we can'. Her words have stayed with me and help me when I am struggling to find a way through. She started more than 20 years ago with 2 ladies, wool, knitting needles and some simple designs for soft toys. Today, the group is employing and training the 2nd generation of ladies (daughters, cousins, friends) and they export around the world. The patterns are all hand designed, mostly by the founder, on a grid with crosses, as literacy and numeracy can be challenges for these country ladies. This is a story of my experience, not a solution, but it is a reminder that what seems impossible, over time with patience, determination, some elbow grease and those who either cheer us on or join us, or both, is possible. The Kenana Knitter motto is 'changing lives one stitch at a time'. Note to self: Once I decide what needs to be done, do it. Once I decide how I want to be, be it.

They pad each other on the back. The winner gets, you know, congratulated? The loser fades off into the you know, back burner. I think it's all about who can buy who for all of them. Always promise this and promise that. Just give me your vote. It never mattered it always needed to look like it mattered. Our votes never really truly mattered because if they did the people we actually voted for would have been put into office but even if the person you had voted for got put into office, there was never any guarantee that they were going to do for you. What they said because there was always a balance. So if the republicans got the house, the democrats always got the senate and one of the other parties always had a head chair in the other parties. Congress or senate party? I noticed this when I was even just 14 years old and I didn't know anything about politics. All I did was listen to him during their campaign every election season. Around the age of 18 and above is where I kind of started to actually pay a little more attention but it wasn't until 20:16. That I really started to pay attention but see, I already knew what I knew what I learned in 2016 was really nothing. I already knew that just cemented what I already knew. You see, so. If people had pulled their heads out of their butts and quit paying so much attention to sports and television and this movie star. That movie starred this rock star. That rap star. Everybody just needs to realize all of that. S*** was created all for distraction. That's absolutely nothing to do with entertaining you? Or it does, but only for the means of distraction, not for your actual liking of the entertainment. If that even makes sense but see and still today. There are too many people that are still too embedded into sports and their everyday life. Well, soon none of that's even gonna matter. We've got Putin off. Of you know in in the Cuba area near Florida? Our government's poking the Bear. So to speak, they want us to go to war. People like George Soros and Klaus robs. And you've all worry in all of them nut cases. They want us to go to war. The whole plan is to kill as many people. As possible so, now that a lot of us won't take their poisonous death clock shots. They're putting it enough food. They're spraying it into our air. They're putting it into our water. There's almost quite literally nothing. That hasn't been poisoned. I just heard tonight that they're putting glyphytes in in things like wine and beer, says probably in whiskey's and bourbons as well. And people are still drinking that s*** And you know you can tell your friends and all they can do is get p***** off at you. Because you're telling them some bad news. And there's almost quite literally no way to get away from it. People are losing their ever living minds. When all they really need to be doing is praying for a revelation. Praying for everybody to seek God's face. Yahua seek his face and pray for forgiveness. Because yeah, life is we knew it before. It's never going back to that and I'm not being negative. I'm being realistic and as soon as everybody else chooses to be realistic. You just might be a little better off. And yeah, we need to stop working for our government and working for ourselves. Instead, everybody keeps talking about how the Chinese would never come after our country. Because behind every blade of grass is a gun. That doesn't matter when no one chooses to pick up that gun. And defend their rights that we supposedly thought we had. We've all been slaves all of this time. But it was very well hidden behind our so-called freedoms. Our freedom to move about our freedom to have a job. Our freedom to buy what we want when we want. How we want. Yeah, that kind of freedom, but it's not really freedom when they can choose to take it all away from you and we just sit back and let it. We all believe that the 2020 election was stolen from us. Guess what? There's been more elections stolen from us than even that, but it wasn't until. Trump ran that most people decided to open the rise and see that for what it was now. Sadly, we're in worse shape than we ever have been. And people still wanna sit back and wait for another election. This just gonna be stolen. We've already allowed our constitutional rights to be trampled upon. And in the Constitution, it talks about people having taken an oath to uphold the Constitution against foreign and domestic actors. Terrace. Well, guess what? We have terrorists running our government straight into the ground and we. The people have done nothing but allow this s*** to continue. So I don't believe anything's gonna be done by the people. We've been p**** fied and that's a fact prove me wrong.

This is a great point. Lots of people with intelligence, courage, and integrity can point out the corruption in our government, and how we need much higher quality people. But none of them actually run for office, b/c the game is too nasty. Who would want to work or fight with a bunch of corrupt a-holes for a multi year term.
Even if a decent person were to get into office, among other mostly lower character people, and tried their best, they would be blamed for what they failed to achieve more than praised for anything they accomplished. And those that opposed them would slander them via the media, like they make RFK Jr out to be a kook, b/c he actually dares to talk about fighting the corrupt system itself. It's a very unappealing life path that does not beckon to good people who don't enjoy conflict.

@@vitaly6312IMO, having to make a choice between only these two people again is absolutely insane, a disgrace and an embarrassment for our country…but since a choice must be made, I think it only makes sense to vote for the person who HAS NOT been charged with 91 indictments of fraud against him and found liable for sexual assault and defamation against a woman and ordered to pay her $5M at the first trial and then more than $80M at the second trial. IMO, that is not a good look for the President of the United States.

@@stopthephilosophicalzombie9017 I like the general ideas this guy brings up but he comes off as such a conceited "I know things neither you nor anyone else knows" narcissist that I can hardly stand listening to him.
I'm not alone in this opinion.

@@antirealist he actually has no clue so he says he has no clue with the implication that he has some hidden knowledge, while hoping that if he said it with enough mystique, people would believe he is just hiding it.
When he said he wants to restart his podcast, he's just saying he doesn't have anything to say but still wants the attention. Hence also the random pre justification about him hating attention.

Please reconsider when your mind will be in a more positive state ... Every time he opens his mouth he has a lot to say and the only people who won’t notice that are the ones who are looking for someone to hand them all of the answers. Eric doesn’t do that. The depth and thoughtfulness of his answers, especially when Chris keeps trying to nail him down, speaks volumes i wish everyone could hear.

When we talk of the trough though, we must remember how many Americans now rely...their employers rely, on that trough.
If you work for any business that gets government contracts or grants or various, specialized tax breaks or subsidies you feed at the trough. People are generaly very concerned about spending at other troughs than their own. They are more concerned with cuts to their trough or even at general cuts that might hit their trough.

that sounds like corporate socialism :D
very same problem we have in europe. I bet every western country has this (I dont know asian countries enough to say). This puts that "zero sum game" mentality which we are not supposed to have but this is why we have it and cannibaize, polarize. It is pure survival, not anything luxury.
Solution is to lower trough for everyone, but tragedy of the commons looms there, so it is hard(or that nash equilibrium problem).... so it is short term easier to polarize and try to grab power to secure your trough/"benefits" in system. Then follows competition between groups.
