    Excellent! It worked esp the triangle. I had one roll that had so many nicks in it that I found using the scissor edge to cut down a few layers and starting from there provided a thicker/stronger starting point. The key is to keep the scissor level when you’re making the cut. Best

    Another brilliant video. You cannot ALWAYS find the edge. This must be an unsolvable problem. I'm beginning to think it is.

    Yeoh, use those scissor's edge and cut through several layers of tape. Tried it! Not a good idea unless you want lots of thick little pieces.

      Hi there thanks for watching, the idea of using the scissors edge is to search for the corner of the tape, but not to cut it, just met with the corner, pick it and go from there. I hope this was helpful!

    Ive been so desperate that I used the scissor edge to cut down a few layers. I must say that I hate this kind of invisible tape. I wish they would find a better design. But thank you for the tips and video! I will try again. I dont recall the tape being this “ bad” years ago. Wondering whether something about it is different with how it’s made

    I tried cutting the tape with a knife and used the end of the blade to lift up the piece of tape I made. It worked, but I ended up with a pretty thick piece of tape 😅.

    The Idea is not to loose the end in the first place.

    • @itsRenee
      @itsRenee  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That would be ideal, but most of the times when in a hurry or distracted (while wrapping present, etc) at lest in my case, I tend to loose the end: Hope this was helpful. x

      @@itsRenee say you hold the tape in your right hand,tear,cut,bight the tape, your index finger is on the sticky side and thumb opposed, move the tale end off to one side and push down with your thumb,this leaves a tale end off to side with absolutely no waste of time or tape....
      I spent 9 years packing and home moving international it works perfectly every time...
