Excellent!!!!!!! The sound and picture are amazing. The presentation was perfect. I especially like how you were able to put out a full range audio for your outro. I heard the base even on my iPhone. I just liked and subscribed.
They are a statement speaker. In my opinion these speakers benefit from bi-amping or perhpas a amplifier that lets you with a gain switch for the bass binding posts vs the mid range / tweeter binding post. My recommendation is perhaps a killer 5 channel high-end multichannel amplifier for the left and right SVS and use the 5 th channel for the center.
I have the Polk R700 and they are much more linear. In the bass range, the SVS Ultra Evolution Pinnacle have an impressive peak at 75Hz, but this distorts the homogeneity of the bass. Placing the polk against a wall is easier than the SVS; allow a good 80cm for SVS with rear port and 30cm for polk with the port below the speakers. The SVS midrange is tiring when you start listening to them at a moderately high level. For a good musical experience, I recommend installing a DSP on the SVS to smooth out the curve and compensate for speaker placement too close to a wall. The Polk R700 are lower in the bass, with better timbre but less impact. The impact and strength of the bass on the SVS are the most impressive I've ever heard, but not necessarily the most musical. If you have a speaker placement close to the wall and without DSP, the polks are fine for music with a good holographic scene. If you want a more home-cinema experience, the SVS are better and are also very good for music with a DSP and microphone measurements to correct the flatness of the spectrum. SVS are better suited to higher room volumes than polk. To sum up, polks are cheaper and easier to use. Pinnacles with a DSP outperform polk, and I'd say Titans with a DSP are comparable to R700.
@@user-st9wh4ed5l the R700 do indeed need a big amp, I'd say at least 2x200W under 8ohm for my part I have 2x300W. I ordered 2 subwoofers Tonewinner D6000 because you can never have enough deep, clean bass and even very expensive speakers don't have enough bass.
Probably similar quality levels. Sound is an opinion not a fact. You have nice speakers. Now ask me about Kef R, Sonus faber, Focal...they are better than Polk.
From your videos on youtube I think you don't know the polk R700. As for me, I've listened to the 2 pairs of speakers and I talk about what I feel while listening. The videos on Erin's Audio Corner with the graphs show the linearity of the polks, which partly confirms my feeling. If you can do some comparative tests of polks with your customers, we can discuss our musical perceptions and all the details I pointed out in my first post. I think polks are an economically credible alternative vs Kef R, Sonus faber, Focal, SVS ...

Why does every body keep reviewing the Pinnacle s and the Titan s but not the smallest tower the Ultra Evoulution Tower. $3000.00 Also since the tweeter and midrange speakers are so low. What is the vertical imaging and staging like?Is it liw also
Will sound the same with less bass...true of any speaker in any same line. Same tweeter and mid...so doing a review of any of them would be the same. If you want more bass from your tower buy teh $5K one...same review.
@@TheaterAdvice_FCAV the mid does change though. It's 4.5" on the first 2 and it's 5.25" on the big boy. Same story though. Lower and louder output as you go up the line, but they are remarkably close to each other from what I've heard
Hello, first time i see your channel, as im looking for assemble a 5.0 same speaker line, what is your recommendation for around 1500-2000 USD? (Only for the 5 main speakers, i own 2 rsl subwoofers) My other question is, if i own a good pair of speakers (q Acoustics Concept 300 but they're 84db 6ohms) and a Heco Celan Revolution center channel (90db), is it really better to get all 5 mains the same, or is it better have better different speakers? OH...very hard to do anythign at that budget. Small in walls. Maybe see some stores for open box things or demo units? There are some HTIB stuff but even those will go over if they are any good. Focal Sib stuff is amazing but probably over budget.

Yeah they do need power from what I've seen.
I can’t get over the look. Definitely no go but I have a lot of SVS products that have been awesome.

I'd say probably but it's got a weird claim to some pretty serious music listening as well. They are dipping their toe in music for sure.

every one I've heard talk about them says they image higher than the tweeter would indicate they would and a pretty wide vertical sweet spot anyway
