Watched a new episode today engagement party, and there was only I think 7 people. So funny how they use to have so many more people from the town get together for party's, or even events they had for a scene.
IMO it was the demise of the ensemble cast of the 80's that really dragged GH down. Now days we get small clicks of cast members and hardly anyone interacts outside of their own. It's really very sad, even the Nurses Ball shows a handful of characters.
@@terricoleman5495 Budget cuts have done a number on the soaps. Used to everyone was on a contract, now most of the cast is on a recurring contract which means they only get paid when they appear on the show.

Ya know come to think of it.... there was a lot of very attractive (in more ways than one) men on GH in 1981! They were doctors, lawyers, international spies... Luke spencer... ... now you get a couple mobsters to choose from.. UGH!!!

From 2:02 to about 2:35 the look on each of their faces and not only what's said, but what's left unsaid, is beyond incredible to me. Such steamy looks and expressions....

Zelda Evans I'd say it's nervous anticipation. ;-) Really excited to see Ms. Francis work in ANY capacity.. but nervous what Laura will bring... not because of Ms. Francis or Mr. Geary, but because of the writing staff. Not sure they know the story, or are as invested in the tale as well as I would like them to be!
I know we have been disappointed with Genie's returns in the past. For some reason, I feel she can return without the immediate connection with Luke. In a way, I hope she returns on her own, in the role of a mature legacy character, forging an identity for her to embrace. If the greatest love story of all time is reborn, boy will we be in heaven. If not, too bad for Luke. The Fluke reveal lacked one thing....the influence of Laura.
Ron claims he came up watching only GH,...so maybe he will treat Laura as the strong, capable,compassionate woman we know. If TG stamps his feet and refuses to mature into a loving sunset LnL story ...our loss and most of all his loss.

Zelda Evans Well today he CHOSE Laura but it seems to help Lucky some way. In the background, Daytime Confidential reported that TG is again mad at GF and promoting Tracy as Luke's true love. They were laughing because every time he doesn't like where a storyline is going, he apparently uses the press to air his views and pressure the top brass to do what he wants. They also mentioned that the idea that GF is hard to work with is silly given how hard TG can be to work with and he gets a free pass.
He just did a TV interview and he said, " GF and my artistic souls meet in outer space". In other words, a cosmic connection. He also said he was very protective of her in the early days. And the connection between them over the years speaks for itself.The bs that is written in the rags are sensationalism to stir the pot. I look at their last scene of 2013 and it all becomes clear. Love and respect.
I normally love Luke’s dress . . . but these clothes are “Gawd-aweful!”
