Luke works out his plan. Robert and company work out their plan. Laura talks to Heather. Luke comes back to find Laura without a date and claims her as his own... whisks her away for dinner at the Versailles room, champagne and all.

One of Luke’s most endearing attributes is his infectious joy infusing his dancing. Although, by her own admission, Genie isn’t much of a dancer, Luke pulls her through. Somehow, I just know the dancing out the door was Luke’s idea❤️❤️❤️

The song playing in the background in the last half of the scene is Hey Nineteen by Steely Dan one of my fave bands. Maybe a quip to Laura's age? Probably not, but it made me smile.

OMG! I thought O'Riley looked/sounded familiar! H.R. Puffinstuff! Wow, that brings back so many great childhood memories. Yea, it was campy, but it was still great Saturday morning tv. I find something new everytime I go back and watch some of these clips. Also, love that Steely Dan. Ah, I miss the 80s.

I think I may have mentioned it before...so please forgive me if I'm repeating myself but, When this was airing in real time, [I was about 12] and Heather always frightened me, even the sound of her voice would freak me out! I think Robin M is obviously a very talented actress to have played that scary [ IMHO'] part so well!!!!

I dont get the Luke smacking Bobbies behind and some comments he makes quite often. This scene he was checking out her backside as she walked b away. Quite odd for brother sister to be played in this manner. I know Luke was a flirt its part of the character but this should not have been between brother and sister. Also the comment about Kool-aid seems like a rub to Genie Francis age especially since she was struggling trying to fit into an adult world. Makes me wonder what she really went through that hasnt been told. It would probably blow our minds. I just hope TG didnt mistreat her that would break my heart. I love TG.
Actually, Genie said TG was very protective over her. Kind of sad that during this time period that Genie was the only teenager on the show. Would have been nice if they could have casted Blackie and some of the other teens during this time.
@MsChemicalEngineer I think I was a little young for HR PUffinstuff.. my cousin who I was close to and was 5 years older than I was watched I think.
Oh Robert, you are still a step behind Luke. Here's a question I've wondered. Was Robert always supposed to be a spy or did that change once GH decided to keep him on? It sort of seems his role changed over time.

@@KDL861 I listened to a Pod cast a couple of weeks ago with Tristan Rogers, who said yes his role changed. He did originally begin as a bad guy on a limited role which was quickly changed. Tristan came up with CK8 because he didn't like the name GH writers originally gave him. So got my answer :)

I showed my 11 year old son HR Puff n Stuff and Land of theLost (before the movie came out) months ago and he was ROTFL. He couldn't believe we used to watch that stuff. I have to say I agree with him. So ridiculous.
