Looks like you had fun with all that old iron Frank 😁👍 Appreciate you taking us along 🔧🔩
Made for great viewing bro so thanks for letting us around the world tag along. Safe travels. Ken.
Thanks for posting!
No way we'll be able to get to many of the shows you post, so really appreciate these videos.
Glad you like them! Too much time having fun and talking to get enough footage unfortunately
If a person wants to visit all the shows in the eastern US all they have to do is follow your channel😅👍. Thanks!
There’s a few I don’t make it to lol
@@73DiamondReo I wonder how many you’d make it to if you were retired like me? I’ll take this chance to say Happy Holidays and all the best to you and the family.
@@oldamericaniron5767 hopefully one day I’ll be able to find out. Do you plan on coming east again next year?
Nice stuff and a bunch I herded over the years but it sure is comfortable to sit here and watch instead of bouncing around getting deafened again. Thanks, Frank and God Bless. Happy Thanksgiving too!
happy thanksgiving pal
Thanks and yall too!@@73DiamondReo
You look good on a highlift Frank!
Just need to finish the one in the garage
Very nice show. I enjoyed watching the video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching
Cool!!!
Nice old machines
Yes they are!
😊😊😊😊
Was watching you run the Northwest shovel. On some shovels the hoist rope is run over one point sheave, to bucket, back over other point sheave and is anchored to boom. I see both sheaves turning on that shovel. I’m assuming the hoist/digging rope is reeved into crowd somehow. If I remember right my Insley book shows shovel reeved to facilitate crowd with hoist/digging action. Some shovels have completely independent crowd. If I’m correct, any preferences of one system over the other. Of course I could get my own shovels and find out for myself.😂
Northwests have crowd assist and independent crowd. Makes them pretty nice to operate. The insley is automatic crowd only. Hoist rope terminates on the shipper shaft so you let off the crowd brake to crowd while hoisting. There is a rehaul clutch to bring the stick back in. I prefer independent crowd.
@@73DiamondReo Thankyou👍
@@73DiamondReo I never saw an Insley with a shovel front. Surprised it has the automatic crowd. Lakeside's Wayne shovel has that, just looks like a cheapie fix. Crowd assist is a good idea, Lakeside's 71-B shovel also has it.
@SteamCrane mine is one of the few Insley shovels I’ve seen operational. Sure is fun to run. Looking forward to running the 71b in the spring again.
Hows the '75 Autocar coming along?
its coming. unfortunately i didn't video much of it
is there anything like this in Texas?
Im not sure.
