  • In this conversation, Dr. Dome delves into the common scenario of being diagnosed with a cavity during a dental visit. Addressing the widespread recommendation for immediate drilling, he emphasizes the importance of assessing the cavity's depth. Dr. Dome, a proponent of biological dentistry, suggests that if the decay is confined to the enamel, a skilled dentist may opt for a non-invasive approach, focusing on lifestyle changes and nutrition to encourage tooth remineralization. However, in cases of extensive cavities, intervention may be necessary. He highlights the significance of understanding the holistic factors influencing oral health, such as vitamin D3 levels, diet, and mineral intake. Dr. Dome challenges the conventional mindset, advocating for a comprehensive approach that considers the body's innate ability to heal and the role of nutrition in fostering optimal dental well-being.

I often try to visualize in meditation how my dentin is repairing xD dont know if that is of help but possibly it triggers and helps the natural workings of repair. I doubt however that this works on places where i already have fillings, especially my root canal.. ? It would be funny though if one day the filling would pop out due to my dentin growing underneath :D Let me dream
