Nice video...I went camping for 3 days there around October a lot of fun. We did the whole permit thing not sure if you guys did that or not. Had a great experience we had a small group 3 tents. We were able to leave our cars right on the camp site which was exactly what we wanted so we didn't have to hike with all our gear. You are crazy just like me lol I did summer camping once and never again its so damn hot and bugs all over. Can't even sleep. I'm not sure of the name but its out in Maryland there's a camp site feet away from the water so summer camping there must be pretty cool. (Check out Camp Glen Gray Mahwah NJ) I did a wood cabin and they also have camp area for tents. Rent canoes and go swimming in the lake during the summer. I hope to go back to Wharton State Park and next time I'll do a video. I have a few pics on Instagram feel free to check out.
I used to hear the wild dogs back in the day when I camped here. I hope this area isn't polluted now, I used to drink the water right out of the streams and sleep under the stars whenever possible.
Never use pine straw creates to much smoke and flies all over. I work the in the fire watch towers you see all over the area .I could pin point you in a second.lolol but you guys did good .let me know when you are up for a real Bush craft challenge.

Pines are very eerie. Just because one doesn't hear something one night doesn't mean nothing is out there;-) I ride ATVs out there it's insane

Did you encounter other campers or were you alone?
I have camped out here before. There are not many people during the week, I've never encountered other campers during weekdays. just a few day hikers.
Where did you guys park? And also, what did you guys have to do to get the permit to camp there?
