Nice man. I truly thinking about getting this car and was watching a few videos. Saw the Greenlight version and would've got it but am picky about spending over $70 and the hood and truck don't open....lol. Autoart version is defiantly more expensive but the look is just awesome. Yeah people complain about the stickers but hey you can apply them yourself if you patient and get the right ones👍🙂 thanks for the review man.
Pressure graphics or "dry transfer" was a big deal in the 70-90s publishing and graphic arts world. Now exceedingly rare-- it used to be possible to make your own (modern claims for that process are not false, but doing so is a trickier process for the home, only eclipsed by color film processing!). For next time I recommend a soft, rounded burnishing tool. There are such gadgets out there but I used to use a Bic Pen cap for individual letters. Worked fine. In the automotive world, you would know this process as vinyl transfer-- instead of vinyl it uses ink but the idea of balanced semi-adhesives is the same. And the look is as near ideal as painting something that small right on the subject.
Its a nicely finished model, but even just looking at it, I can tell the proportions and some of the lines of the car are wrong. I don't know what it is about Aussie Falcons, but very few can seem to catch them accurately in model form. Classic collectables did a nice job with their die cast coupes, but every other attempt I've seen, just misses the mark. Its not bad if you don't know the car that well. I mean you can tell what it is supposed to be, but if you grew up with these coupes it really looks off.
You guys are spoiled ,back in the day we had to make our own ,example Juha Ario was the best I recall. Who cares about 100 percent accuracy. Model companies are doing a bang up job these days 😎
Those really set off the Mad Max vehicle !! 👍👍👍
Those are great! I like that they're more of a transfer than a decal.
Yep, very easy to apply.
...menudo detalle bonito para terminar de rematar esa joya de maqueta.
Thanks for this video Boyd. I bought the decal set for one of my mad max cars. Haven't got round to doing it. I need to find them now. Stay safe.
They go on easy and look great.

The Mad Max Interceptor! Still my all time favorite SyFy movie car!!!!!
I remember the 1979 AMT 1/537 Smoothie Refit Enterprise had rub on decals.
Hey Boyd, what kind of software do you use to make your videos with?
I use video pad.
