Section 230 isn't the problem. The courts intentionally misinterpreting and making bad rulings on section 230 is. Changing the law won't solve the problem of out of control courts.

Even without the expanded rights corporations received all they had to do is simply say that it was not in their company's best interest to air anything they don't want. "After review we determined that airing such an ad could hurt revenue due to potential backlash".

The Sherman Antitrust Act protects consumers and businesses from this sort of action, to help protect the "free marker" from business alliances taking this kind of power.

a) Americans with their head on straight will find out they were right in their suspicions all along, though not by direct admission
b) they will go to bed tonight, wake up tomorrow and shove it down the Memory Hole, and nothing will be done about it
False advertising is a crime. Slander is a crime. Defamation of character is a crime.
