This video sounded really good in my left ear.
How do politicians walk in as poor men and leave as multi millionaires ???
To say they leave as billionaires is inaccurate. That doesn't happen. Most don't walk in as poor either. They go in as millionaires and leave as multihundredmillionaires.
@@patrickpet7905your comment is proving his point. He exaggerated it.
@@zaddy2760ohhh wow!!! Nooooo wayy, get out of here!!! Captain Obvious in the house yall! I never in a million years meant to prove his point, ever ever ever no no way at all. Never did I mean that..... not at all... 🙄🙄🙄🙄 Captain Obvious just got promoted to General Redundant
They don't. You just made it up.
They don't walk in poor either.
Hawley is always on❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Keep em on their feet Hawley
Been working on insider trading for years ....still working on it ?
Nothing ever gets done !!!!
Thank god for Josh Hawley!
Don't worry about public perception Sen. Paul. I don't think the public perception of Congress be any lower than it already is.
Josh Hawley needs to be the AG.
YOU DEFINITELY DID NOT WATCH THE ENTIRE VIDEO. They are willing to support the bill banning trading . just not selling when you get elected. That would discourage a lot of successful and qualified people like for example Mark Cuban or Donald Trump which has 100 million worth stocks from running in office
Vp Hawley
@@guysumpthin2974 he drafted a poor bill. It still needs amendment
@@EpiCreatures-jh2qx if you put it together perfectly, people bitch anyway, so give them something to pick-on , make them feel empowered and make changes, its a good start ,,,
AOC THE DIPSTICK IS WORTH $28 million! How?
Pelosi must've given her some pointers and tips.
That's a lot of drinks at a bar.
That's a lot of drinks at a bar.
No she’s not lol
I'm pretty sure Netflix gave her a bunch of money?
Why not combine a “term limits” legislation bill with Senators who hold stocks..
Thank you, Mr Hawley
This is why term limits are needed for congress.
I disagree. Learning the ins & outs of how Congress works can take numerous terms. Chuck Grassley is a prime example. He's in his early 90s & SHARP!
I strongly disagree
Exactly.
It just means when you get someone good in they have to go soon after
Absolutely. And remember to vote Blue no matter who!.
Hey Senator Romney, I heard what you said 'A Messaging Bill'. This bill not designed to actually do anything other then make it look like you're doing it.
Divesting from your own companies, no.
The banning of trading while in Congress, yes
Senator Paul's and Senator Johnson's concerns are legitimate. You keep what you had, but you can't trade AT ALL while you're sworn in. It's pretty simple.
Hawley spitting fire. This bill needs to pass. And term limits for career politicians. Thieves
The Congress won't pass such law that would have negative impact to their members. They place their interests over the general public's after-all.
Yes
Hawley is correct.
Jash Hawley. You sir are the man. You just went up two notches in my book.
GO to congress and get rich Why do you think all the LAWYERS want to go there ? THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW . WE ARE NOT
More Democrats are lawyers. Republicans are typically business owners. IJS.
LOOK HOW THEY WILL WORK IT OUT FOR THEMSELVES, LUCKY US!!
I am amazed how honest and straight this senator is!!!
I love this man! God bless you Senator Josh Hawley!
Josh Hawley hasnt made one mistake his whole career in the house. What a great congressman. Maybe if can stop the insider trading, there would be less need for term limits. But congressmen should not have to sell their businesses if elected to office.
He is a Senator, not in the House.
This is so true!!!
Congress, staff and family should not be able to trade on "inside information" Yes, they should be able to own companies but not trade them while in office. When they buy and dump it does affect the market immediately and long term. You not only get an advantage by this trading, but you have the probability of ruining other peoples positions that are trading the same stock but without your inside knowledge and that should be a crime!
Amen Hawley!!
I like an honest man. Thank you Senator Hawley.
listen to these crooks.
Interesting the lack of Democrats in this committee meeting... They'll just unanimously vote no.
That's a good thing
@@hockeyfan74 Pretty unfair to say just Republicans are getting rich. Quite convenient pretending that Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi didn't became multi millionaires while living on a congressional salary. It's a bipartisan problem and Democrats should come to the table and enter the discussion.
@@hockeyfan74 your reticulitis is showing blue
@@hockeyfan74Both houses of Congress have Locked-In their Two Party System. At 47yrs old, w Bush 1.0 I abandoned Both parties. We all should have. @@davemi00 what "game" am I playing? I was simply replying to a ridiculous comment that there were no Democrats present at the hearing. There clearly were. Explain what you mean.
Am with Josh Hawley on this
They need to be charged for insider trading
