First time paint correcting my car EVER!! (I look like an idiot) haha

  • Hey guys!! Following the last video, we started working on detailing my 2018 Camaro ZL1. Never done a paint correction before so it was a whole new learning process haha enjoy the video!!

      @@rayromanick YES AND I JUST PAINTED MY FIRST BUMPER ON THIS SEDONA AND IT CAME OUT AMAZING!!! IT WAS BLACK SO I SANDED AND CHAGED IT TO MATCH THE VAN WHICH WAS RED .

    Hey! Just a friendly reminder that you should dab it on the paint, then put the pad on the paint and spread it out on the lowest speed setting, then on full speed slowly pass the area and polish. Turn the machine off on the paint. So you don’t fling polish everywhere 😉

    There a video by Chicago auto pros that shows how much polishing you need to burn through clear coat. It helps me when I hire new guys to my shop.

      just watched that video! definitely helps a ton. I think I was even too cautious during this detail of my car and could have pushed it a little farther to make it a little more perfect! thanks for the insight!!!

    First spread the compound on speed 1then make about 3 passes overlapping about half the pad. You don’t need the Dexter plastic sheets 😉

    Where did you get the light? You should really go watch Brian at Apex Detailing to learn how to do correctly.

      Doug Harper the small light was from Adams polishes. I’ll check out his videos! Thanks!
