Although to some extent nowadays your college/etc matters, dont let that be a hurdle for you. Work hard for what you want to do and trust me you'll get it.

Never mind about your interests, your aptitude for a specific branch, definitely don't care about whether you are even interested in studying engineering. Just choose like every other sheep from the herd and be in safe zone. We do not want thinkers, philosophers and scientists from India - those are lame professions better left for Europeans and Americans. We want utilitarians who can do the bidding of their masters just like how the English used the civil servants from India before Independence. Be proud to be the utility person of the industry. Be proud to be the sheep!

My son scored 99.55 percentile in JEE mains and BITSAT score is 355/390.
1.He will be getting CSE at good NIT say Allhabad (fee is 8 lacs, average placement is 25 lpa)
2.Getting IIIT Alahabad( fees is 7 lacs, average placement is 30.6 lpa).
2.Getting CSE at BITS Pilani( fee is 30 lacs, Average placement is 25 lpa)
3.Qualified JIPMAT 99.2 percentile, getting integrated MBA program at IIM
What should I choose. I am confused as the total fee of BITS is too high around 30lacs, fee of NIT/IIIT Allhabad is around 8 lacs while the average placement is more or less same.

You can better do your PG abroad .there are lot of scholarships available for PG AND PhD students in foreign countries . Surf the internet about the requirements . For guidance also there are some agencies like IDP,Edwise etc.. if you wish you want some guidance you can go there and apply for universities abroad

Sir ,I am getting CS in NIT Trichy,Bits pilani,iiit Hyderabad.My adv was not good and I am getting aerospace (my second preferred stream)in IITKampur and Kharagpur(from first mock counselling). I like both Aero and cs.
I am also getting CS in NUS Singapore with 100% scholarship with travelling allowance but I have to work for 6 years in Singapore registered company not necessarily in Singapore.
If IIT cs better than NUS cs I will enter IIT and try for upgradation but will be happy with aero if not possible.

Will you plzz tell me how you're getting cen % scholarship in SINGAPORE? Ive secured good percentile in jee mains 2019 1st round 97 %tile and can easily get into top nits/iiits in top branch but haven't prepared for oversea courses like SAT,TOEFL etc and wanna know bout oversea education and their scholarships. Unfortunately, i dont have answer of your question but plz do answer me. You'll definitely get a good guidance from any random source or person.
