After at least 30 years of playing around with MIDI and audio hardware and software I finally felt the need to slice up audio into samples, and there was your video! Thanks for helping me get through my first slicing job in UVI Falcon, it helped a lot.
Well dude, just stopped watching the tutorials a sec to tell you that your are probably the only really understandable tutorials about falcon out here for a "falcon beginner".. even better than the native ones from UVI. Good job and thank you :) Looking forward to more tutorials about falcon in the future since as of now I see eyou've just done the sample part and very little of the rest :)
Hi great tuturial, I hope you will consider to record more videos about falcon in the future... I'm also using Falcon 2 and Studio One so your channel is a great source of information to me :-)
Outstanding tutorial! Love it. At about 16:05 or so, you right click on a slice and there appears a drop down. When i right click my slice, i get no drop down. Is there something i'm missing? Thank you ahead of time for any help you can provide.
Hey, glad you find the videos useful and thanks for watching. I don't have any patches that I'm selling for Falcon at the moment, but if I ever do I'll definitely announce it on the channel!
Can one add any audio sound into falcon and slice it then apply it to a midi keyboard and have it change notes on the keyboard? I’m new to this stuff. I’m a guitarist and sliced a sample on kontakt and really liked this type of feature. However I wonder about adding your own sounds. Is there a plugin that accepts any sound that you can slice and mess with?
Also can someone explain why there is crackling in the slice? Same thing happened on my kontakt sliced sample I made I believe. Is this a common issue with slicing. Is it easily edited out? I wasn’t sure if it was a processor issue. Any help is appreciated
Hey man, love all your videos, tutorials and music videos. I was wondering if you could possibly make a tutorial video on how to assign pads and keys for an mpk mini in Studio One 4. I just picked up an MPK mini MK2 and can't find ANY helpful videos on how to map everything out properly. a couple came close but I still can't get it right and getting stressed. About to just give up and return the damn thing and get an Atom or something idk.
Ah, I wouldn't give up on it just yet... Have you already watched this video I did on setting it up on Studio One? th-cam.com/video/saDNq-8HvEA/w-d-xo.html

Going back to back to watch all this. I can’t thank you enough. By the way are you selling some patches that you’ve done for Falcon?

Is there a way to use the envelopes AFTER mapping? It seems like once I map samples to individual keygroups I can't access the envelopes anymore.
Quanta, what happened to the rest of the tuts? I went to the UVI Falcon Playlist and there's still only 4.
I plan to start uploading more this week.
@@quantaaudio awesome! thanks!
Where do I access Falcon?
I’m currently running the 30 day studio one demo. But I don’t see falcon as one of the instruments.
Falcon is a 3rd party VST. It is not included with Studio One.
Where's the music ?
