I love this chair, I just don't know why they made it so you can't take the chair cover off to wash...if I had known it doesn't come off i would have went with something else...other than that it's a great chair
As a grandmother I like this high chair. Have used it several years. Very light to carry. Fits in closet with my other kids things. Thinking you can hose off the seat outside if needed but I never have. I do have to put a small pillow behind my granddaughter due to only in a recline position. Any suggestions ?
@@OhMother yeah it's insane, I have this high chair also. The people who came up with this either are disgusting or they aren't currently a parent. Hard to clean a fabric seat that's not removable, like what genius didn't think of that. They really should test these things with actual parents and do like an opinion panel on it before they finalize the design. I also hate the positioning of the seat like my daughter looks uncomfortable in this compared to my son's old high chair. My son's 11 so they don't make his high chair any more and I didn't hang onto it for 10+ years, I sold it or gave it away or something and I miss it. i think his was by Cosco, too but it was so much nicer.
I found this because I too wondered if there was a way to remove the seat... it's weird since parts of it unbuckle and unsnap it seems like all of it should be removable, does not make sense at all. I got like 3 or more parts undone but then see that the front appears sewn on and that one front strap seems pretty much un-removable, also. Such a bizarre design. So far my daughter is only on purees she's 6 months and has been using this 2 months so I've been able to clean it decent with dish rags or disenfecting wipes, etc. But once we start baby led weaning this will be a total disaster.... then there's the dilemma of pee leaking from her diaper. She's a heavy wetter. i try to just remember to change her diaper right before I feed her.
Thank you for watching. Yes that was the same dilemma I encountered. Honestly, what I do when I need to give it a good wash, I take it outside and wash it down with my water hose. Comes out like new each time.
I got this chair for 5 dollars at a yard sale but once getting it home I realized how dirty it was and the more I took it apart the more gross it was. Than it got to the point I couldn't take it apart anymore and that was very frustrating being it needed a lot of TLC. We had to unscrew parts and I added in a more padded seat for better booty comfort.

Thank you so much for watching! The seat is pretty thin. I want to say from top to bottom, it’s about an inch thick. However, it’s not uncomfortable for her at all. I have one at home and one at my moms and she sits in it fine. We also have the Bumbo and removed the cushion all together so she can use it longer and she’s fine in that too. Hope that helps! ❤️💕
@@ayerimhm this may not help you but someone else who may be looking into this chair. I feel the seat itself looks comfy but I feel the positioning of the seat and baby is a bit awkward. My daughter looks funky sitting in this. Even when I adjust the straps. I don't love this high chair, if you can find one that has a removable more plastic-y type cushion I think that would be better. My son had one with like a plastic-y cushion at the time I worried because he slid around on it more but it was so much easier to clean and also the cover was removable, too. The buckles held him in good so the sliding wasn't a huge deal I just worried too much, lol. If I could do it over I would have registered for a different high chair not this one. Mine is adorable and I picked it because the cover was cute and matched my kitchen stuff decent but that was a stupid reason to pick this out lol. My son's high chair that I mentioned was huge and hideous but was better than the Cosco simple fold and was a little cheaper at that time, but he's eleven. My daughter using this high chair, the Cosco simple fold is six months old.
I found this video when searching if my cover could come off the high chair 😂 I got it second hand, so it's kinda gross 😩 Maybe we will just pressure wash it 😂
😂😂😂 ITS STILL GOOD! I have 2. I found one at a garage sale. And we did just that! Pressure washed it. Came out like new!! And we had to do that a few times after since my little one gets it dirty. Pressure wash it and lots of disinfectant spray, it will be new again! Lol

You can take it off but it’s very difficult. Lots of screws! But I did it. And then you have to cut a hole in the bottom to take out the board.

I have recently discovered that the cover does come off you just got to unscrew it takes about 10 screws in total.

Hate this high chair. Baby has a blowout and you have to unscrew soooooo many screws to take it apart to take the cloth part out to wash. INSANE!!!!!
I get it. Ive had to take it outside and put the hose to it too deep clean it.

Nope, had to unscrew everything. Cut a slit in bottom to remove wood board and replace.

I just clean it with a brush and water hose and let it dry outside

Hello. Thanks for watching! It hangs low. It’s a barrier so the baby can’t swing it’s legs back. It does not have step for them to rest their feet on.
