I’m in the market for a vehicle. I’ve always heard do not get a car in its first year of a new model. Considering the ‘25 Camry basically has the same frame/build as a ‘24 Camry, does this rule of thumb go out the window?
It definitely depends. In this case, for the reason you listed, it's probably safe. This is using the brand new 5th generation of their hybrid system, so it's very much proven at this point.

My current car has a 6-speed automatic, and I dont like cars getting less ground clearance. It makes it harder to get into and out. I had a friend that just bought a Toyota Crown Limited. Beautiful car and rides higher
That's a very good review. The design of the new Camry has changed significantly, but I think it's good. However, I think the space in the back seat is a little small. The 2.5-liter 4-cylinder hybrid uses Toyota's latest generation hybrid system, and I believe it offers powerful driving, excellent fuel efficiency, and environmental performance.
This lady really needs to focus on her notes before making this video because she was mentioning features that are actually standard across the board and saying it’s an upgrade charge, such as the Blindspot monitor, lane keeping assist, and other features..
Kind of a odd ergonomics the way the passenger side dash blocks access to the USB Charge ports and makes it more driver centric. Just what the driver doesn't needs more distractions while driving.
That’s the way to go! I used to have a 2019 Camry XSE in windchill Pearl/midnight black with the cockpit red leather interior. I got so many compliments on it.
The gen Camry looks really good, esp in SE and XSE trims. Initially, I hated the cheese grater grille, but it looks good in those 2 trims due to the honeycomb. The new Accord just doesn't look right. It's side profile/silhouette looks like a hatchback---not a fan of that look
I hate that I can't get the 16inch wheels in xle and get 50+ mpg. I don't understand why people want ugly huge rims when they hurt fuel economy and ride comfort
There was too much romantic tension between Micah and Lynn which Micah's wife didn't like so the wifie told Micah to stop appearing in videos with Lynn
Camry has come a long way since 1983. Prior to this, the vehicle was known as the Corona, which goes back to 1957! Few companies can match Toyota reliability.
But they don't give you all the safety features on all the trim lines. For 2024, Honda Accord gives you all of the features regardless of the trim line.
Honestly, looking at those gas mileage numbers.. the AWD models really don't make any sense to pay extra for unless you absolutely need it. If think the overwhelming majority of Americans should just get the FWD.
First off… who did the ending music for this? Secondly, as a long time diehard Honda supporter… Honda failed with the new Accord and Toyota has me right now.
I cannot believe that Toyota did not learn their lesson with the previous Camry. The lesson is that if you're going to be producing a car for people it needs to have all of the safety features on all of the trim lines. Honda failed to provide all the safety features for the 2023 model. But they corrected that for 2024, and all cars get all the safety features, including blind side monitoring and Lane keep assist. I could not buy the new Toyota because they cheapened out for the least expensive models.
All vehicles need to become hybrid. Honda should have been the leader and done this to the Accord first, not half hybrid and half not. Hopefully soon the Accord will drop all ICE only engines and go hybrid only as well. I currently drive a Honda hybrid and won't own another ICE again. Driving is believing. @@williamguillIII that's correct. They have ICE only models. I'm hoping they are smart enough to remove those and do the Hybrids only. I drive a Honda hybrid now and wouldn't want anything else.
