I bought the LE with a convenience package about a week ago. I love the car. It has the same hybrid engine that all the other trims. The ride is quiet, secure, and the power is more than adequate. The ride with 16 inch tires is smooth but not floaty or vague. Unless you feel compelled to spend thousands more, the LE has the ride and features that you could want. It does not feel like an entry trim.
What kind of fuel economy are you seeing in real world driving?
I want to buy . How much is your OUT THE DOOR? DID THEY HONOR THE $29400?
How’s the seat comfort? Last gen’s were horrible
@danielito3766 in my case, yes, plus special color, and all weather mats.
@@PAIKUN. Seats are one of many things improved this time around.
This is got to be the best value "base" Camry ever built. Looks great in silver, too!
I hate to admit it but I actually like the LE wheels 😭
They only look good and match to this silver color car.
More MPG, less NVH! Looks great on Supersonic Red, also.
16" is the best economical way to just change tire at costco ! :)
You don’t need t upgrade to an SE or XLE just to get a leather wrapped steering wheel.
The Cold Weather package includes a leather wrapped, heated steering wheel.
You can also buy Wheel Skins real leather steering wheel covers that are custom sized to fit and you can pay an upholstery shop to stitch it on for you if you can’t do it yourself neatly enough.
Wheel Skins will not have a '25 year anytime soon, and good luck finding an upholstery shop.
@@corydonrose6109 Does the 25 Camry have a completely unique steering wheel that isn’t used in any 2024 Toyotas? Probably not.
Upholstery shops are not that hard to find.
Amazing review Will.

I keep my eyes open for those videos!
Smart key should be standard.. hybrid Camrys always had smart key ever since they came out in 2007. 13:37 you can even get the leather wrapped wheel on the LE
A power drivers seat should be standard was well. It was standard equipment on the Camry LE at least since 2012 until 2024.
Thank you, great review
Great job & I think of buy this as my first car.
The advantage of the 16 inch wheels that is more noticeable than the ride quality difference, is that it gives you a few more MPGs.
Rim thieves are also less likely to steal them because they are not flashy enough to draw attention.
You are most likely to find your XSE or SE on blocks missing tires and wheels if you park outside on the street or in some apartment complex parking lot.
According to we never win over Camry. Just bought my fifth Camry LE. A 2025 we love it. It has remote start and they say that LE doesn’t have the pocket on the driver side because this one does.
Love this car.
I had a 2013 Toyota Camry LE as a daily driver, and I loved it. It was great on gas, fun to drive, great on the freeway or in town driving. It's 16 inch tires are full of air and you'll notice a smother ride as compared to thin 19 or 20 inch tires which you'll feel every rut and pothole on the road and are more expensive to replace. The 16 inch tires are inexpensive to replace, and so are the light bulbs. This car is perfect for most people who go to and from work everyday, run errands, weekend trips this Camry is your little work hose. It's a nice looking car and I'd buy one if I didn't own a Toyota Tacoma right now. You can't beat it.
2025 base LE is actually $500 cheaper then the 2024 base LE.
Yea and that comes w the removal of smart key and a powered drivers seat. Not to mention for 2018 models only, hybrid models came w heated seats as standard. Even the LE had them
just wanna say ty so muich for reviewing the LE model. not just for this but for other base models. the base models of cars dont get reviewed enough
Great review! I had heard you can order moonroof on LE models. Can you confirm?
Great!
I wish those wheels and tires were available on the upper trims... They could get the same awesome MPG as the LE. lol one the LE side, I wish it had the same optional sun roof as the higher trims as an extra. My fear is that they will not make enough LE's to go around.
Somehow, the back bumper of LE XV80 Camry is black. It will have this black painted bumper on Camry Cross SUV?
So, since all Camry's are hybrid, did they ditch the blue background Toyota badge on this model? Previous models all had blue badges to indicate a hybrid.
Yes they did
I like the LE. The only issue I have is the 8" screen looks out of place, with too much black space around the borders. Wish they offered the 12" as an option.
The 12” screen is an option on the se trim.
@@Richard-xv7yf Correct. Sorry, I had a typo. I meant the LE in the video.
Pretty sure the base LE and SE have incandescent front/rear turn signals, not LED?
Correct
Nothing wrong with that, bulbs probably last 6+ years and cheap to replace. Led module fails and replacement cost hundreds.
2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid HEV LE FWD Sedan!
It’s 2024 electric power seat should be standard
Keep the base LE is $30k for daily use. No need to spend further. "this base LE feel quicker than SE and XLE" ! 😀😀😀
Trd or le
numbers off again
I wish these manufacturers would make a more attractive interior with leather and lay off all the technology for the mid models. Most buyers in my age bracket couldn’t care less about all these touchscreens, navigation, and other automated controls. I would 1,000 x rather have leather seats, power seat adjustment, and the comforts of the past luxury cars-minus all the electronics!! Why not have an older person’s model??? Forcing older buyers to pay more for what they’ve been used to is unjust.
Mostly because there's no money in that. Who would buy a car for more than $30k and expect what they offered 15+ years ago? You don't think they do the research when developing vehicles like this? That "old person" demographic is more in touch with modern features as they ever have been. If anything in this base model Camry is that frustrating to use, maybe you shouldn't be driving?
Ok boomer. Old people buy SUV.
I don't like leather seats- HOT in the summer and COLD in the winter.
@@1997nick It’s all about the money. Style has fallen by the wayside. I’m older, but I’m a crackerjack driver and your comment about my possibly not driving is tasteless and irrelevant to this discussion!
@@Shakespearelover1717 Sorry, but how is it irrelevant? What exactly bothers you so much? There's one measly touchscreen in this model, no navigation, and nothing is "automated" other than the headlights and high beams. There's not enough market for anything less than that.
yhe accord has better sound system with 8 speakers 🔊 and optional 12 speakers 🔊 plus the interior is higher quality 👌 👍
Plus, with the Accord, you get to pay more for less car in almost every way. And in ALL the most important ways when you're talking latest/comparable models.
eCVT in the Toyota is superior
Accord mpg is worse as well
@@rncondie I’ve always liked Hondas more than Toyotas for driving feel. However, their hybrids use clutches that won’t last as long as Toyotas planetary ecvt. Reminds me of the Hondamatic, Honda didn’t want to pay for patents so it made its own not so great auto transmission.
Ill just stick with my 2017 camry, built USA , ZERO issues ever. All for less that 28K F J B
F D T
Camry 2025 built in Kentucky USA
I like my 2017 but the infotainment is lagging sometimes to the point where it’s unusable, and the transmission has an odd slip from 2-3 when it’s cold out . I’d like to upgrade but can’t justify the money yet
the accord wins
Maybe against the Sonata or K5...
In looking like a turd
Not even close, that turbo engine in the Accord is too high strung for me and turbos absolutely require strict adherence to the oil change intervals. Was an Accord fan for over 20 years but no more,
@@tomhowlin8833 the L15 motor sucks. i would never buy one of those. the accord hybrid wins over camry.
The Accord is no winner over the Camry.. IT'S A VERY DISTANT SECOND PLACE.. I HAD ONE AND GOT RID OF IT.. HONDA'S QUALITY HAS WENT DOWNHILL..👎
I wl keep my mitsubishi mirage cheaper rain sense wipers better mpg and more reliable
It's also in the way on the highway
more reliable is crazy mitsubishi is owned by Renault like Nissan..
Sure, but you're way more likely to survive in an accident in the Camry...
I would rather own a 10YO Camry instead of a new Mirage.
So you’ll take a POS over an actual good car just bc it has rain sensing wipers? A Camry XLE has rain sensing wipers
