***** I mean you don't have a clue how difficult it is, and how much time it takes, to especially make fluid and realistic first person hand animation. They could spend nearly a year just doing that, which is definitely not worth it.
***** It a style of gameplay. And there are many games that choose not to have hands and/or legs. Love this game by the way. Wish there was a release date ready. And hope for good VR support! Keep it up!

I'm really impressed with the quality, I always wonder why the hell there has never been a game about abductions of terror, this is an issue that causes me very scared since childhood, I'm already loving this game and still not released, I am awaiting this beautiful work, just do not know if I can play it, sorry for my english I am Brazilian and I am very happy that this game is coming from argentina, good luck guys

Muy orgullosa de ver un juego nacional tan llamativo gráficamente, que se ve que tiene una historia muuuy buena, todo muy perfecto sinceramente. Estoy ansiosa de probarlo y de que la gente de afuera lo pruebe, y se apueste y apoye más la iniciativa de juegos argentinos. Van a arrasar en la E3!

Lmao im the dark watching this trailer and the light from my phone reflects off the screen. After the baby gets abducted and she reaches for the door as it shuts, I start to freak out cuz I think I see an alien. Then i realize its my nose reflecting off the screen. Haha
Turning the lights on while a dog is squeaking outside... Suicide-Mission. :D
But good thing of remastering the audios, as I told in my comment for the first version. Really good, that there is no voice in this anymore. You have a better feeling of participation. Something I love from Valve Games for example.
As far as I noticed some elements are added music?
I would appreaciate a function of disabling music. Just for the immersive players. What confuses me are these sounds of a liquid! I am excited to see how it will work!

This might sound strange but in a weird way I like the sensation of being frightened.. Horror movies these days don't cut it but these sort of video games do!
Definitely going to look into buying this!

Some impressive additions to the sound effects in many areas, but I must admit that I prefer the original. I found many of the sound effects (and music) in this version to be slightly over-the-top and unnecessary, whereas the lack of such sound effects and the absence of music in the original made it feel more realistic and significantly improved the immersion, and I personally found it more intimidating.
Although that most certainly does not mean I will not be playing this. Thus far, the game has come along extremely well and I am very much looking forward to more footage. My compliments to you on the exquisite work.
I would suggest a little more subtlety, dont play any sound effect with the alien running past the window, tone down the slurping type sounds in the kitchen. True horror is not being sure of what you saw or heard and letting your mind run its course.
+Fangs of Yima slurping was weird, they should be heavily breathing instead.

La pegaron con el juego y ya seguramente tengan contacto con algun publisher importante, mas por el hecho de la cancelacion del P.T. , la gente queria algo similar a esto y se cancelo , este juego es aun mas innovador que el P.T Silent Hills por el entorno de la historia y el concepto que otorga al jugador. Va a vender como pan caliente, dudo que ya no tengan algo cerrado antes de ir a la E3 2015. Felicitaciones por el projecto y porque la pegaron muchachos! Aguante Argentina.
The voice-over in the old one may have been a bit too over-the-top but I definitely prefer it to not having any voice-over at all. This version without the voice-over just doesn't feel quite as emotional or scary IMO. Everything else looks great, though!

Excelent! Loved this one very much! You got rid of that screaming woman which was really annoying. But I did find the little dripping slime sound effect quite weird... No hate though. Loved this!

hey thotwisegames! i really like this gameplay but it would add to the immersion if you guys put realistic hand animations to pick something up or turn a light on. or maybe if it becomes an fps some realistic hand holding a gun animations

tremendo! el sound design se escucha espectacular pero hay sonidos que no se ubican bien y suenan poco naturales como por ejemplo en el 1:40, se escucha muy IYF, tendria que estar filtrado!

This game... I have searched and searched and wondered if there would ever be a game that perfectly depicts my fear of aliens. Especially "the Greys". I must ask, did you get any inspiration from the Greys? Also, I have a Mac and a PS4 available to me, and I'd like to know, when this game releases, will it be available to Mac or PS4 straight away? Or will it just be for PC, and come to Mac or PS4 later? Thank you
Also, some friendly opinions on ideas for this game. You may be pretty deep in development, so I may be too late to give some ideas, but I will:
- Please, less of the slurping sound. It kind of interrupted the horror of the scene and sounded too monster-like and not mysterious enough. I would recommend a low humming (lol the name of the game) or more technical strange sounds. Or maybe even a sort of subtle groaning or breathing sound.
- There MUST be glimpses of the aliens. Not too revealing though, because then the mystery will be lost, but subtle shadow-like glimpses of them. Similar to what was in the trailer for the invasion simulator, when you wake up in a barn and go onto the street then spot one as you hide behind a car.
- Less of the over dramatic sound effects, like when you see the alien run past the window, don't make the violin screech so obvious.
So basically, more tenseness and mystery, but less monster-like and over dramatic.
The only thing I'd suggest is getting rid of the slurping sounds. When the aliens were in the kitchen all I could think was "What, did they break in to drink all the milk?"

game looked really great, the only thing that bothered me was the fact that the player character only tried jangling the doorknob, like if you hear your kid crying in possible pain and you see lights in that room and shit you dont know, you damn well know your going to try to save your baby by any means possible. so jangling the doorknob then standing back to wait for the door to open seemed torturous for mew, it would be cool if you instead tried slamming the door open with your body and then finding the room empty with everything floating.
+MultiChicken123 The problem with that is there's only really two ways to achieve that, and neither are good for immersion. You can either make a cutscene of you trying to break the door down, which takes control away from you, or give you a bash function you can use at all times.

MultiChicken123 This is just an inherent problem with first person games that try to be immersive. They need to leave you in control of the character, for the whole game if need to, but they also have to direct you in subtle ways. A cutscene is the same every time, here, they need to direct a scene when they _don't even know where the actor is_. It's tricky to pull of. Any kind of action the character could do in a scene, like bash a door, or hide, or yell, needs to be a function you can always activate, or it's just contextual. And making it context turns the door into a button to activate a cutscene.
At least here you're always in control, so never lose the connection.

Does anyone remember a movie where a man and women are living with a few of their kids and the father disappears (abducted) and the mother starts to lose her cool with the situation and the children have to be taken away from her? It's driving me nuts that I can't remember what this is.

looks impressive and all but if all we can expect from the gameplay is just another Amnesia clone then I'm not really interested. Unless you magically somehow surpass the atmosphere and tension building of The Dark Descent.
