I'm 30 and been a daily rider since I was 19. It always hurts to hear a fellow rider never made it home. I almost lost my older brother when he totaled my first bike.
We never know when it's our time. We know and accept the risks. But if your husband was anything like me, the only thing on my mind during the close calls I've had were the people I love, and praying that God will take care of them in my absence.
He passed doing something he loved, without a doubt thinking of the person he loved.
Stay strong and trust in God, he'll never leave nor forsake you.
Four years ago my son and I were in plane crash, 3 passengers and only 2 made it, my son and I, praise God even though I still struggle every now and then with the death of the pilot I know that God was in control. Thank you JESUS!!!!

In the depths of my drug addiction, I used to play this song often. I prayed for God to break me out and let me live a happy meaningful life. I suffered for years but I finally let God take over and I will be 10 years Sober March 5th. I have a beautiful Wife and Son, a great career and a happy life! Gave my life to him in 2024 and he delivered me and brought me to salvation. Jesus is Lord, and He is my savior. Took me out the depths of hell and addiction.

I almost died in a car accident and right before my car crashed God flashed my whole life in front of me... He said to me, "if I try to hang on to my life, I will lose it. If I give up my life for His sake, I will save it." I told Him, "Jesus, take the wheel. I give you my life." I let go of the steering wheel and instantly God protected me in an invisible shell. I knew He was real, alive and the truth. My car flipped over, fell down to the side of the road and landed upside down. I was stuck in the car until someone came to pry it open. All I could say was "Jesus just saved my life!" I walked away without a scratch and the paramedics thought it was the most insane scene as I flung my hands up telling them God just saved my life! Halleluyah! By His grace, He saved me and I was a born-again believer of God. He is so good, so real and so alive!

17 yrs ago when this came out my oldest daughter was 8. She loved singing this song. Had no fear, she sang it in our towns homemade American Idol contest. So beautiful it would give me goosebumps.
Fast forward 17 yrs..
I'm driving home this comes on radio. Sends goosebumps up and down me. Has me crying. I am now raising my daughters 5 yr old daughter. My daughter is and has been fighting addiction and mental health. I am so scared of losing my daughter. She just celebrated her 25th birthday Monday. I just sent her this song. Told her how I loved hearing her singing it when she was a young lil girl. And i told her now I just wish she would do as song says and throw her hands in the air, ask Jesus to take the wheel....

Carrie Underwood always been my inspiration growing up I love her so much my cousin had stage 4 brain cancer and this song helped her through everything and help me know Jesus is with her and will always be and her will keep her safe as I knew no matter what happens I will see her again someday and that is what I love knowing she ain't gone forever she died 5 years years ago and there been signs showing she is here and I know it is her because the way these signs are that's how she was it is etheir her name or knowing she Is by me in my heart so that is why I love this song and this song is the same for my grandpa mostly what I said about my cousin I know both of them will be in my heart because of this wonderful song.

My daughter who is deceased now and I were on our way to Texas to take care of my father who was dying from bone cancer!! I just had bought her brand new CD with this song on it and we kept hitting replay over and over again!! And I most certainly do believe…. that my God was trying to tell me to just let “JESUS TAKE THE WHEEL”
May 6, 2006 my daughter who was with me at the time was only 10 years old (and now ever so sadly has past away September 5, 2020) when I suffered heart failure 😨
My dad was dying from bone cancer!! I lived in St. Louis Missouri at the time and he lived in Amarillo Texas!! And on the second day of my daughter (who has passed away) and I arriving there I just never woke up!! You see, I had for a many of years really struggled with/from severe anorexia nervosa!! In-which caused me to suffer heart failure (wet beriberi syndrome) (having no thymine or any kind of nutrients in my body) on the second day of being there!! I just never woke up and I ended up coddling five times in one day and the last time for 33 minutes!! I had to have 14 pints blood transfusion, three surgeries in four days, and ended up in a coma for six weeks with heart rejection fractions that never got above 9%…

This is the year that I rebuilt my life and this song will always take me back to that time of feeling so vulnerable, so scared, yet still so hopeful.
My baby is 14 years old now and we have the best life ever. It took a lot of work but we made it.
Sometimes you just have to let go and trust God, Jesus or your higher power because sometimes what we are holding on to are all the wrong things.

Everytime I hear this song, I tear up. There were so many times that I called to Him especially when I'm down or faced with a difficult situation but eventually forgets to call him when I am well and happy. But despite that, HE remained loving and merciful and still blesses me. Today, I am hearing this song, calling out on HIM not because I wanted to ask a favor, but I just wanted to take this moment to thank you Lord Jesus for the happiness and the sadness because both of these strengthened my faith and believe that you do exist.

When I was little, this was one of the few songs my mom would sing aloud in the car, and it always seemed to come on when she needed it the most- needed a reminder of her faith. Every time I hear this, I'm reminded of the endless hours she worked just to be able to feed us and provide us with the same things other kids had at the time.

I’ve been through a lot and when I feel like I can’t steer on my own I throw my hands up and give him the wheel. Last summer my oldest son was driving my suv with my 5year old in the back seat. Somehow my son lost control of the vehicle it hit a curb and a pole flipped in the air and came down facing the opposite direction.....Neither were hurt they walked away with a few scratches. My SUV was totaled but they are here with me 😇Jesus took the wheel!!!Believe and Be blessed!
