This series really shows the difference between elite korean pro level mutalisk control, and the level just below that. So many tiny mistakes with mutalisks that Bishop punished, the sort of mistakes you just don't see ASL regulars making. Really helped me understand just how good the top of the top are.
It's also could have happened due to a ping issueses. Bishop lost first encounter since he missed two shots in a row with his wraith stacks and they ended up taking damage for nothing.
when he had the wraiths on the run and didn't moving shot to follow them that's a critical moment where 5 wraiths got away for free. Small moments with huge consequences
Honestly the difference in micro is so great Fengzi may as well have just dived in with the mutas every time.
Jeez... it's pretty obvious these guys are in two separate tiers. Ping has nothing to do with it. Bishop is a class above. If they play 8 more games then Bishop wins AT LEAST 7.
He is not elite. He is sub pro gamer. And Now Korean starcraft gamer skill is under than 10years ago.
Fengzi is like: “He can’t keep getting away with this!!!”

Wraiths has longer range but muta has stonger def because muta is small units...
Wraiths aren't bad. It's just that they're super hard to pull off
@@fatemakeus mutas can also get created en masse as soon as the spire is done if you bank larva, while wraiths have to be built one by one.
@@Rethaxianthat, and wraiths are really expensive. The price IIRC is the same as a siege tank. It’s probably why you never see anyone use wraiths for that alone.

Wow. I haven't watched any of Leta's games recently, but this wraith control looks the best I've ever seen.
There are a few games from Light recently where his wraith micro makes Leta's look like nothing special. I am not sure if it due to the better turn rate in remastered or if he just has stupidly good wraith micro.
This is the difference between the Korean scene and the rest of the world… it is no joke.
Brood War was treated like an American major sport. Even the best SC2 players by comparison do not compare to the type and degree of training these OG professional e-sports athletes went through.
Yeah it looks really good. I also recall JyJ having some good control. Top pros are just amazing at this game...
Watching zerg players have to deal with wraiths is so cathartic I can't put it into words.
Bishop's wraith play is crazy.
Any zerg player going mutas against him is in trouble, his wraith control is that good.
I've seen Light utilize wraiths against Protoss on 76, but never have I seen a Terran crush a Zerg like this with Wraith micro. As much as I want to say Tesagi, I think it's quite evident that Bishop is leaps and bounds ahead here. But I want to believe it's going to catch on because I want to see more of these air battles!
It's honestly hard to tell how good he is compared to the other top terrans just by these games I think.. These games are like good muta micro vs completely disgusting wraith micro. And even if the wraith game looked not close at all bishop would have lost almost all his wraiths to most ASL zergs 2 times during that game I believe.
at around 9:46 Artosis turns silent to what is basically the-nut-cracker-opera made flesh on the theater that is SC1
These games have genuinely been fantastic and Fengzi came really close in that ultra game. Fun to watch!
Omg this wraith counter against the muta has been so hot recently and I’m in love with it.. seeing the terran fight in the sky, instead of chasing mutas with marines and medics has been refreshing

I would be so demoralized after getting so thoroughly out-micro'd by wraiths multiple times this series, geeze. And Fengzi has really amazing play, it's just BishOp is a whole tier above. Really a delight to watch these games play out and I hope to see a lot more of both of these guys.

Even though this series is clearly one-sided, I've been enjoying every game. The skills that Bishop has been displaying are ludicrous. Please, Artosis, more Korean pro-level StarCraft!
Seeing wraiths coming out on top and seeing those overlords drop like the flies that they are puts a huge smile on my face
One thing I've learned from these longer sets is that if you get out-controlled both on the map and in smaller engagements you simply can't win. Even winning in the build order lottery can't save you.
I haven't been this impressed by Wraith micro since watching Light doing it.

Problem is that you cant do mutas against a wraith player with excellent micro. You need to make hydras and queen+ensnare. JD presented that strat in a game recently.
You can use the queens later for broodlings vs tanks.
Hydras destroy vultures and wraiths so... no mutas needed.
I think the problem here is perhaps he was already going all in with the mutas and so was the terran player with the wraiths.
I absolutely love to see terran REPAIR his units.

What if Fengi has lags? Something about his mutas micro does not line up for me. He misses many shots on wraiths, getting to close to Marines. Maybe he is tilted, but maybe he's lagging.
If he lags so does Bishop StarCraft is P2P connection
@@boongusliga I thought its a server connection. I recall there was a game some time ago. Between Chinese and Korean players. Artosis said that the Chinese had bad latency but not the Korean player.

What server was this game on? Looked like it was on Korean server as the muta micro just wasn't there, meanwhile the Wraiths didn't miss any shots.
I was wondering about Ensnare vs wraiths. Fengzi had enough time to build and research the spell and buy some queens. One ensnare and all the wraiths are dead. Bonus point, ensnare makes cloaked units visible as well.
can't the zerg use ensnare on those wraiths?
I think 2Port or the 111 Build is the right way to advance the TvZ metagame right now. Getting air units out quickly is just the way to go.
Just talked to Ben Dreken over at ScBw Blizz Official Team HQ, they will in fact be patching and Mutalisk is getting additional 35 extra starting HP
i'd say the wraith is lucky that it even has some viability to it .... meanwhile a certain protoss equivalent flyer cries somewhere in a distant corner ... along with a ghost ...
I wonder if this Wraith play can do the same againts players like Soma,Queen or Soulkey.
