This is so cool, thank you for no doubt the countless hours of experimentation you're doing behind the scenes. Sadly, I feel like this is a bug that Frontier would patch out, but hopefully they embrace it
You can build a pool into a lake by first placing the pool, then editing the terrain, deleting the pool, editing that terrain, adding back the pool and then filling it with water. If you want to edit the pool you simply have to delete the water first. If you go with the camera into the pool, it'll show two waterlines though.
@tagi3d either infinity pools on a lake or hiding the pool section just under the water line so it appears they're swimming in a lake. If you add a path to that pool, you can also remove the terrain by pushing it as shown in this video by yours.
I also found a trick that is kinda similiar to this. Example: you cant add speakers to coaster cars. However if you take a speaker and activate the option „add to building“ you can add the speakers to the coaster car. That helps when you want to create a parade and have each wagon with individual music playing :)
cool tip! I want to add my own scream mp3s to the coasters when they let us upload audio in the future patch. I don't like the default "woooo" the guests make.
I had no indication this was possible, but after watching your previous vids, I was certain you would find a way to do this. Very cool! Totally agree that if this is an issue that Frontier will want/have to patch for whatever reasons, they need to bake invisible paths into the game (along with a better clearance for elevated paths).
very useful and cool technique! not sure if you found this yet with all your tinkering, but for building pieces that can only be rotated in 1 dimension, there's a workaround to rotate in all dimensions: 1. select a fully rotatable piece and push advanced move ("x") until rotation is selected. This should have the piece locked in your view but not placed yet. 2. select the building piece you want rotated and the 3D rotate commands from the initial selected piece should still be visible and usable. 3. rotate to your heart's content A note similar to the method in this video is that this only works once per piece, trying to rotate it again after moving and going back to rotate is then still just 1D. Hope that helps and keep up the awesome videos.
I think a tool to highlight areas as inaccessible would be great. Almost like an invisible draw tool just to stop npcs walking through walls and environment.
This is so so cool! This is the reason why I love people like you, who are taking the game to it's limits and I can learn those cool things also for my game
this is great. hopefully they add more elevated path options; grated metal catwalks, netting, etc. that was one thing I really thought was missing in planet zoo. very clever exploit there
Very cool trick! Hope they will add the dedicated invisible paths tool and invisible scenery like benches, chairs, trashcans etc for custom scenery import.
Wow that is super slick. Kevin Costner's Robin Hood and NES Dizzy's Adventure are the two "tree" images that pop into my head when seeing this. Oh, and throw in the 70's version of Swiss Family Robinson.
I keep saying that you're a genius, but I seriously need to come up with something more fitting!! I need to look up a word with a meaning that far surpasses a simple genius, because the creative opportunities that you have opened in this game are beyond fantastic. I end up redoing my park after each video you put out!! 🤣🤣 Thanks again!! 💜💜💜
I found out in planet coaster 1 how to make people walk in the air. I used it to make them walk on glass to get to a bench extremely high in the air. But they can only walk maybe 4 meters to a bench so one path of 4 meters..(i think).... The way you do it is by making a path and put down a bench at the end. After that you remove the path under it. The bench is still in the air, and the guests walk in the air to walk and sit on the bench thats in the air.... You can also make 2 paths going side by side for how long you want it, with 4 meter space inbetween and put glass there if you want. they walk in from both side of the path that way. But you have to have benches for it to work.
I've discovered another caveat that this doesn't work with blueprints. When you save these invisible paths as part of a blueprint and then place the blueprint, it adds the terrain back to the paths
Hi, maybe you can help - for the love of god i cannot manage to get the terrain to go away. I did everything like you wrote/ showed: - full area to work on flattened to surface - use stamping tool to create a natural path going from a single piece up to six pieces - use multi select to select those path pieces - use either move or advanced move to move that path into the sky - again use multiselect tool to grab the path in the sky and place it back down to its original place - immediately after use terrain lower on that path I set all settings on path and multiselect tool just like yours are but at no time I am able to make the terrain vanish. Theres one thing i noticed though - you are using hotkeys (!) for some actions. This i tried too but there is one hotkey I cannot find you seem to be using and that is to actually place the path, I use left mouse button for that. Everything I did not see your mouse moving for i used the hotkeys as well.' What am I doing wrong?
Hi there, I’ll try to help. Someone else had trouble but found out they were pressing escape between moving the path and then selecting the terrain tool. So try this… just start with one small piece of natural path. Advance move it up and far (sideways) out the way…. Then directly click the terrain tool (with your mouse press on the tool and don’t press esc) and push away the terrain… if that works experiment from there…
@@tagi3d ok so what I did: sometimes moving it into the sky and removing terrain up in the sky works. Path is invisible, but i cannot use it way up in the sky. Did the same you did on those stepping stones in the small pond - there it looks like youre taking away the path to the sky, selecting it again in the sky and then move it exactly where it was before - but at that position i cannot remove the terrain, no matter how often or with how many pieces of path i try. I tried making the hole below that target path very deep but that didnt help either. Do you press left mouse button when placing the path into the sky or when you place it to the target area? I never press ESC, I move the path, click on the checkmark to place it, then immediately go to terrain and lowering tool, then use it on the path... not working :(
STOP IT! YOU MAD MAN :D:D
🤣🤣

yooo
this channel is quickly becoming my most important source for planco2 techniques. Great stuff!
Ah shucks, thats very encouraging
DUDE! You just WON the game! You exceed even the biggest "Planet games"-creators who've done it for years and you just started 2 weeks ago!
Many awesome creators out there, I just doing my bit. Love the community.

Love this out of the box thinking. You discovered and showed so many useful techniques over the last couple of weeks. Thank you so much for that!
One of the best content creators for this game right now
This has been such a valuable subscription already! Thank you!
So good to hear this! Thanks for the sub
Damn. I bet even the developers didn't know this was possible. It would be great if rope bridges were added

OMG, please keep those tuts coming. You're changing the game for the better ❤
Thanks, can't promise every week will deliver a ground breaker (pardon the pun) like this one.
Have use your tutorials and my parks already look so much better.
Legend keep it up.

Best content I’ve ever seen on this game!! I love you!🎉🎉🎉
Love this to bits, your channel is gunna be so important over the next few weeks and months, incredible stuff dude
What is this madness! Haha. Thanks for the efforts in discovering this stuff
This is ABSOLUTELY incredible!! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!
These videos have been super helpful!! Keep up the great content
Wow, that’s a phenomenal find. Your videos are great! Can’t wait to use all of these tricks for myself

Benny needs to hear about this 😮

This must be magic. Feels like you're breaking all the laws of Planco nature
Thanks for figuring this out! Please create a playlist for your PC2 content. Great stuff!
Thanks, will do!
This is so advanced but really interesting to see! 😍
There's already a mod on Nexus for scaling so I wouldn't be surprised if they is eventually one to remove the clearance restriction.
That would be nice but i hope frontier do it in the base game
Your videos are class Man your gonna blow up
Now THIS is a Game Changer!

If you dont get all the terrain on the first go or you forget and click somewhere else you can move it with the multi select again and then try again
100% correct. Though on occasion that weird terrain lock occurs and you have to move it far away and reset.
You keep breaking the pathing system in every possible way. Great! Next challenge: looping path, guests walk upside down 😁
haha let me know how YOU get on with that challenge :P
Can't wait to have my guest float in mid air

Big love from the community!!
Cool feature, hopefully it will stay in
This is amazing, youre incredible!! Frontier should hire you hahaha
This is incredible!! Thank you for sharing!
Welp, i'm already worried this might get fixed but it really just shows the demand for a proper invisible path tool :D
Brilliant tutorial. 👏
This is bonkers. I loved it!
Amazing tipp! Thanks for this video 🙂
This is so insane !!!! Incredible
Maaaaan, Jonti was right, you're the pathing king
looks sick!
Really helpful advice thank you 🎉
You're very inovative, keep it upp!👏👏👏
Omg. This is incredible. Legend!
Dude... what?!?! How did you even begin to figure this out lol
Great, now I want to make Endor….
3:53 THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID
Michael Scott would be proud. haha
I was on my way to the comments for this exact moment
You are a MENTALIST.
This would be really cool for planet zoo 2 ;)
that looks so cool
Amazing! Thank you sir!
Insane thanks for that!
okay thats crazy you made invisible paths
Here before this blows up!
holy smoke.. thats nice. i can use that for my adventure tree
High ranking content creators are def going to steal your idea. Probably happening as we speak. Just know that YOU did it first!
girl….. we’re all inspired by this guy and he’s frfr gonna get so much credit. his stuff stands alone above all of us lol
I'm fine if they build on any idea I share. That's what this community is about. But thanks for the cred.
So glass piece are coming in the next Hot Fix. So you could actually build that glass bridge they have in China by adding those to the invisible path?
Yeah i saw on discord an attempt of that with water pieces
Dude you’re a wizard!🎉
Underrated.

Also dont put it back where you first created it. Needs to be a new position I think

Ich hoffe diese versteckte funktion bleibt oder wird von Frontier noch offiziell ausgebaut.
🎉🎉🎉
Can this work with any path like queues? I'm wanting to make a funhouse queue for a ride and this will be incredible to use!
You can lift queues.. doesn't need any fancy tricks.
Oh man, that's game changing - quite literally!
Let’s hope frontier make it easier
Another banger!
Are you able to make arch bridges this way, to create like a Japanese garden?
Yep for sure
@tagi3d I just subscribed , keep up the good work!
@@HossNotright hey i appreciate it!
Amazing! So invisible rail is the next step?😮
if they let us remove kerbs like in pc1 that would be great....
Frontier, if you don't add invisible paths, fine, but if you "fix" this, I'll be mad
you're a legend
Salut tagi3d. It's amazing! thanks! 👍👍👍👍
Thanks!
absolute madlad
legend
Is there a way to put this on the workshop? :))
When you place it as a blueprint... the terrain re-appears.. but you can save your whole park with out it happening.
mind. blown. +1 sub!
Thanks for the sub!
Hey ! I'm doing everything like you said, but this doesn't work... Could a setting change that ? Thx !
You’re definitely using the advanced move tool on the path then immediately pushing the terrain? Pc or console?
Here also it does not work i been trying for hours and watched this tutorial a dozzen times.
@@tagi3d I was pressing esc key after moving the path, now I close the navigation menu and it works.. I don’t know why but thanks !
@ thanks for letting me know this might help others too!
Frontier watching this like😮😮😮
Wow!!
💯
someone show Geekism this NOW lol
it doesn't work, can you put it in the workshop??
When you place it as a blue-print, the terrain comes back, so it's a whole park save kinda deal.
Can you save as bp?
Ill have a look. That file is a mess atm
@@tagi3d Yea I've tried it 9 times, cant seem to get terrain to drop.. hmmm..
try a single piece of natural path... then lift, then immediately push the terrain. It should work. Are you on PC?
Just contact frontier
Now figure out how to remove the steam boat canal so steam boats actually look like they are in a lake or river and you will be my hero 🤣😂
Wait? there are rides in this game?
@@tagi3dYes man, put the pathing tool DOWN.
no just kidding keep it coming 😂
Wizard
What the heck, well now you’re just showing off
My people still can't walk on the visivle path. How could you made them walk on the invisible one?!! 🤣🤣
3:23 You may thank me later ;)
This could've been a 2 minute video... but cool nonetheless
