    Thanks for uploading - had done a similar process back in 2020 recreating a Carousel Columbia skin at the Great America parks. I forgot how exactly I did this. This video helped re-spark that technique.

    Just randomly came across your channel, but I really got to give you compliments where due. The way you explain things in combination with the tone of your voice is really soothing. It makes these tutorials so good to watch and makes me not scared to try out these techniques as well. You are reminding me of Bob Ross, but then the PlanCo version!
    Keep up the good work, you’ve got yourself a new sub!

    Thanks a lot. This tutorial helps a bit for me to 'breach' that wall i hit, when you transition from grided to non grided building. I like this build a long a lot, since you hit the right spot between do a copy of things i do and use your own creativity. I was using a diffrent color scheme, so i ran into slight issues with the tropical pillar, since in some other colors you notice an ugly looking seam since the pillar has more intense coloring at one side than the other, but 90° switch solved the issue.
    One teeny tiny critique: When you presented the pieces, you already had them scaled and colored, maybe start with the original and then scale them down 'live' for non confident builders like me, it feels a bit wobbly if i picked the right pieces, though you presented them and i was able to double check, but it still leaves a bit of an unsure feeling at the start of the building.

    Thank you for doing this! I'm going to be following this as well to learn the techniques and such. I'm horrible at building so I hope this will help me in doing more. How do you have your camera set up? I struggle with camera movement also. I would love to see a tutorial on pathing if you're ever up for it. I think there's so many options for things in this game that I get overwhelmed.

    I only got to play Planet Coaster after it was dead, I mostly play Planet Zoo, so we call this the "mud pillar" trick! Nice either way!! ❤❤

    Great tutorial, I’ll have a go at this later and hopefully it turns out nice. Only issue I’ve ran into is the precise movement controls on console are frustrating on these builds.

      @@wilsonrandolph540 ugh I can only imagine the chore this would be on console. Best of luck

    didn't they say there is a mirror option when building that should build the other side while you build one side?

    Instead of fiddling with the angle at the edge of the sign, on the corner. Just use the wood beam, it's already at the perfect angle.

      @maskedbandit102  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I did that originally off camera but I swear it wasn't the correct angle. :shrug:

    It really is a shame we can't hard fuse objects together to lower part count, imagine the things we could make is a 140 piece roof only counted as one piece with minimal mesh and texturing

    • @maskedbandit102
      @maskedbandit102  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That would be crazy, but at some point, I'd assume that stops being a "game." Truth be told, I don't think it was ever intended that we'd make roofs with 1000's of pieces, haha.
