So informative, thank you! I’m new to NICU nursing, so these videos really help break down essential pieces of neonatal care. Very helpful! Would love to see a video on types of respiratory support, why one is used over another, and interpreting ventilator and hfov settings :)
Hello Rachel! Congratulations on being in the NICU- we all love it here! We've made a few videos on respiratory support (ventilators/ gases/ HFOV). We are planning more on different modes, but maybe you could start by looking at those ones? Let us know if there's anything you are specifically looking for?
Thank you so much GM! For watching, for subscribing and for taking the time to comment. We'll be releasing the IDM video next and the TPN part 2 to follow that! Thank you for being here :)
You are awesome! I love all your videos and recommend them to all my colleagues. I listen to your videos over and over to solidify the information. Being a visual learner I am so grateful for these videos:)
That's so great Carolyn! I'm almost jealous of being able to learn like that- I'm so use to reading that I find it hard for new information to 'stick' unless I'm reading and highlighting! So glad these are helping you :)
Hello Joe! Thank you for your lovely comment. We have already made a video on IVH- have you seen that already? was there something else we missed in that you'd like us to discuss more.
Thank you, Dr. Tala, for this amazing discussion. I love watching all your lectures. Could you do a lecture on medication management for babies with opioid withdrawal symptoms? Thank you.
Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch the video and for writing to us. We always love your comments! Yes! NAS management is a great topic- and one that has changed recently. Thanks for the excellent suggestion!
Would absolutely love to see how to change tpn & smof lines on central lines, specifically uvc lines.. Unfortunately this is done at my facility on days and I work nights, so it’s not something I’m exposed to very often.
Yes! A great idea! We made a video on the coagulation pathways- PT and fibrinogen etc- so maybe start there until we get the actual video out!! Thanks for watching!
Thank you so much, this is very informative and useful information. Please could do a video on different types of venous access, central line, longline, brovaic line and where this lines are inserted into. Also interpretation of blood gases. Thank you so much
Hello Gabby! These are all such great suggestions. We haven't directly filmed these videos but we did one on PICC lines and a few on gases. A video on types of lines is a GREAT idea though. Thank you so much.
Hello Devina- we're not sure why- but this got thrown into the 'held for review' basket- so we just saw your comment. thank you so much for your lovely words. We will be running a cardiac series this summer :) And we will definitely get around to vaccinations
Thank you for watching Angela. We are planning a lecture on hydrops soon (after we finish TPN and BPD). They all take longer than expected- so thanks for your patience!!!!
I would love to see how to change TPN lines!
Excellent! We'll try to get a video of an experienced nurse changing the lines (if Arianna refuses! She is the best at it!)

Can we administer intra lipid through PICC line
YES! we often do. Often it's not the issue with the line but with whatever meds are going through with the lipids...
Thank you for the great videos! Is it possible to do a lecture on fetal hydrops sometime in the future? I appreciate all of your help!
Thank you for watching Angela. We are planning a lecture on hydrops soon (after we finish TPN and BPD). They all take longer than expected- so thanks for your patience!!!!
