Looks like Freitas was well prepared strategically. Fast long serves to Harimoto’s backhand to surprise him. Also slowed it down with spinny loops that Harimoto couldn’t counter hit.
Good editing. You have finally found the way to shut up this screaming kid. Just cutting the footage right after the point ends. My ears appreciate it.
@One Slice why do some retards complain again and again about a boy whose matches no one is obliged to watch? And why keep complaining if Harimoto doesn't fucking care?
@One Slice I see people in the comments crying about Harimoto over and over and over again instead of just muting the video or just not watching them at all. Seriously, you don't have to bitch about a 15yr old boys shouting every single fucking video it doesn't make any goddamn sense.
The first time i saw that kid beat MA LONG and tht too a chinese player was beaten by a non-chinese player then i really appreciated the talent of that kid but the screaming of his just isnt something you see in other players...few top players shout after a winning point that too for hardly a quarter of a second showing that they secured the point after such an intense rally but when this guy screams(doesnt shout), he clearly wants to show his dominance over the other players and disrespecting them by such a gesture...that is why i started to hate him. Time may teach him on how to respect your opponent or else he will have to cheer him up all alone after every point with that screaming and the crowd would be with the opponent on every point..
Okay so some people, actually many people including myself say, that harimotos celebrations are pretty loud and I heard some even say they can‘t take it. Alright, then just turn the volume down or when not possible, there are always things that get on your nerves. So accept it. Acceptance is key to inner peace. Seams like many haven‘t achieved their inner peace yet.
This was a match that I've been looking forwards to. I imagined that Harimoto could make Freitas run around like a headless chicken. If Freitas attacks with speed, that's what will happen. On the other hand, Freitas is a tricky dude, he will play short touch shots, wait for the opportunity and spin the hell out of the ball. He can play soft, he can go for the corners. Harimoto is vulnerable to this kind. Harimoto is best when you try to straight out outslug him. So it was a delicious match to watch.
shenzhenpingpong2 That's the reason why I fear for Fan Zhendong when they meet in future encounters, he doesn't know how to out- tactic a play, all he does is power and speed all day, and he doesn't worry since it helps him beat almost everyone except Ma Long
Very good analysis. I think that too. If freitas went for the speed harimoto would most likely outplay him but freitas is very good at adapting his game with different opponents and thats what he did here and it worked.
Herbdoulaye Yousef , Liu Guoliang himself said that Fan Zhendong is a very intelligent player. Fan adapts very well, and actually plays conservatively at first.
Great match! A brave Harimoto vs a very smart and technical Freitas. Both awesome!!! Some recent matches of Harimoto ended 4 x 3. It must be quite demanding.
@@iChriZGaming if anyone here can't debate, it's you. You throw dumb insults without actually backing up your argument. How is it a "good ball" when your opponent misses an easy one? I (almost) don't mind the screaming when he hits a good shot or there is a good point. But when he screams after a blatant miss by the opponent? That I don't understand.
bosco008 why do football players on the same team huddle and high five each other even after their opponent scores an own goal? Same reason here man. It’s to boost their own confidence for the remainder of the match. Marcos Frieta does shout also after Harimoto makes a blatant mistake, in fact most players do. Just that Harimoto sounds more annoying.
I think if he were not that loud people wouldnt mind. You can see Freitas in the final cheering on alot of balls, just not as loud and noone bothers. Harimoto does not want to disrespect anyone, in general he is very polite shaking the hand properly, cheering away from his opponent and not in his face, never cheering at a net ball. He is just LOUD and that is what annoys people (which is kind of unfortunate, bc I see alot of players who are ACTUALLY rude but it doesnt get noticed)
@@bobokai98 Perfect analogy! You came first and beat me ahahahah... But I add: in football the teams use to keep the ball in the defense field waiting for the time to pass when winning the match. And when a team plays "at home", the fans scream as loud as they can in favor of their team. But experienced professional players get used to it and adapt their emotional control. Coming back to table tennis, let's remember that hiding the service was legal for a long time. Many players did it, including the "Mozart"! Another thing is to stamp the foot on the floor to confuse the adversary about the ball spin. Some players do it and there's no one complaining. So, I stress here, the term "disrespectful" is totally subjective (although some use as a truth ahahahah), since no one complains about those things I pointed out. Even IF Harimoto used the screams intentionally (which I think is not!), to make his opponents unstable, it is part of the game and, as much as football players, professionals are used to it. Oh my... I wrote a lot ahahahah!
Its true that Harimoto screams a lot and that is annoying for whos watching the game and mostly his opponent but at least he shakes his opponent hand properly and with respect at the end. ( which many players dont do)
+Well Mefisto im not being a dick, but if you try and defend and justify someone’s nasty attitude in a game with a shake hand after the game, it is completely stupid.
also it is worth to notice that he does not cheer on any net balls, he does usually cheer "away from his opponent". I personally think he is just celebrating himself and doing it in the most respectful way possible, just loud.
Finally, our ears can rest, wonder he shout so much and still lose.Marco really know how to take care of him. He really had some good shoots during the game.

good match, even though 7th game was one-sided. Freitas played the patient game, whereas Harimoto was apparently trying to overpower. I think this is an aspect of his game that he might need to improve as his career goes forward.. you can’t always overpwer your opponent, some times you have to play the ‘medium’ balls better. Also since Freitas is a left hander it probably made the angles a bit difficult for Harimoto... in any case well played both players.
harimoto's screaming is probably where 30% of my 'hatred' (just not a fan) of him comes from, his playstyle is what annoys me the most. effective, but disgusting to play against and to watch in my opinion
