    This is very cool. Thanks for the tutorial. This would be so nice to have installed on my Cayenne. The remote start would be great to turn on and warm up my cayenne for a few minutes in the winter before I drive it. That would save me like 5 minutes every time I start my car in the winter instead of using the key like normal and sitting and waiting. Would just have to get around to taking the time to install this but it looks pretty straightforward and I like a challenge.

    Very good video, On Ali it says Cayenne Year 2005 so i was wondering if this kit will fit my 05 cayenne turbo (955) , i know i almost is answering the question but I'm hoping that maybe you know for sure.

    • @_ARUS_

      @@Tran0370 yes I’m very happy with it; especially for the winter since I can start the car remotely to warm it up.
      On a side note, after a lot of troubleshooting I found out that the optional bluetooth adapter (for the phone app) is slowly draining my battery so I disconnect it in the summer since I only use the app in the winter. Again the phone app is optional, you can still start the car remotely with the key (press the open button then press and hold the close button).

    Hey stupid question, i love the mimic of porsche having the key to turn it on the left, do you think if i buy the kit i can somehow replace the push start button with the key contactor the original one buy a spare of doom key that you can just turn it to start?
    Thank you

    • @_ARUS_
      @_ARUS_  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can’t because the kit bypasses the original wiring; the cable that goes into the steering column goes into the kit then the kit’s cable goes into the steering column.

      Hi Roberto,
      I wish I can help you; the kit that I show in the video is for 956/957 (Cayenne first generation).
      I don’t have any knowledge about 987; maybe it has different wiring.
      Please contact the vendor who sold you the kit and explain the problem.
      Good luck.

    Hi, nice video. I wanted to ask you, but if the battery of the new remote controls used to communicate with the old key runs out, how do you get into the car and above all start the engine?

    • @_ARUS_
      @_ARUS_  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You mean if the car battery is down?
      In that case you can use the original key and put it in the door handle and turn it to unlock the car, then pop the hood and charge the car battery with some external source (another car or battery charging unit).
      So after you take the inside board from the original key to put it in the kit, don’t throw it away because you can still use the key to put in door handle and open the car.

    Hi Arus.
    If I may ask, how did you get the rear lights to flash(blink) the way they do when you put the ignition on? Is that another kit or merely bulb types or fuse replacement,

      If you’re talking about the part where I start the car remotely and the taillights are flickering, that’s just how the camera picks up the LEDs; in real life they’re not flickering.

    Nicely done. Has the company got back to you about the firmware doors issue you explained?

    • @_ARUS_
      @_ARUS_  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      So after using the system for few months I realized thay there is nothing wrong with it; it works as per design.
      If you approach the car it will unlock only driver door, if you walk away it will lock all doors.
      Now let’s say you’re in your garage doing something, the car will keep unlocking/locking since you’re near by so you can simply lock the car by pressing the key button, once you do that you disabled the passive keyless entry mode and won’t be activated until you unlock the car by pressing the key button.

      The original key’s board is soldered inside the kit and the kit comes with its own remote keys, so basically the new keys talk to the original key which in turn is soldered inside the kit which will lock/unlock the car.
