    Tyranids deserve to be strong! There has to be someplace were the armys of the posterboys can be defeated! If Astartes can not be beaten in the novels & video games it has to be on the tabletop!

    I’m hoping they’ll bring out some new nids models as like a specialist team for this. A bit like how the orks have their kommandos killteam. They could do something great with it.
    Or just an updated lictor would be nice:

    Nice deep dive, thanks. A question on Synapse, though perhaps I misheard you all. I read Synapse to mean that all Hive Fleet models (since all data sheets have Synapse) ignore the effects of being injured so long as the injured model is within 6" of another Hive Fleet model. There is no need for this model to be within 6" of a Tyranid Warrior, any other model will do. And though vague, I would say that a Hive Fleet model cannot count itself as the friendly model for satisfying the Synapse ability.

    • @shmoe360
      @shmoe360 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      The requirement of a SYNAPSE model is a tag not an ability. Warriors have the SYNAPSE tag whereas every nid model has the Synapse ability

    The fact that you get a 'First Strike' initiative when charging is huge for melee teams. Without it they kind of suck, but with it, they are pretty scary.
    One box of each should give a fairly competitive roster. You can get two Warriors with 3 boneswords and a whip. One leader Warrior with a devourer and scything talons. Then 5 double rending claw Genestealers. And 8 Hormaguants. For 16/20 model roster.

    • @AzaMinis
      @AzaMinis 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can’t actually get 2 warriors with 3 boneswords and a whip from 1 box of Warriors unless you do some janky conversions or are good at sculpting. The box comes with 3 left hand swords and 3 right hand swords. All whips are left hand weapons. In order for 2x weapon beasts with whips you would need 4 right hand swords, which is more than in the box.

    I have no idea how many bone swords I get
    Rules say:
    Each separately equipped
    with one option from each of the following:
    > Boneswords, deathspitter, devoure, rending claws,
    scything talons, spinefists or lash whip; bonesword
    > Boneswords, rending claws, scything talons or lash
    whip; bonesword
    What does "; bonesword" mean in this list? And it says "scything talons or lash whip". Is this an oxford comma issue or do they mean that list or whip. Can someone sit GW down and teach them how to write rules that make sense.
