We stayed there a few years ago and because the hotel was inside the walls I could drive in through the town square. I felt like royalty cruising into my castle. It is a lovely place and really nice in the evening when much quieter.

Nice place, nice video.... it looks to me that it's one of those places that look better from afar or as in this case from above ( drone), I google the town and it says that population as 2022 is a little over 10 thousand people (?????) where do they live? the whole town is not larger that a large castle and outbuildings!! and it doesn't seem to be a "new town" nearby ....

Monteriggioni in provincia di Siena, ha una parte nuova che é a valle. Uscendo dalla Firenze Siena la trovate subito a sinistra. Li ci sono il comune le scuole. Il posto dove siete é chiamata anche la rocca.
Monteriggioni è stato posto come corona , sul capo della figura allegorica che rappresenta L Italia ,
