New Control Arm with Ball Joint from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ib/1ASL...
This video shows you how to install a front control arm on your 2009-2015 Honda Pilot. Control arms are a crucial part of the suspension system of your vehicle. They not only carry the load of the vehicle to the wheel, but they typically also maintain its alignment. Control arms are typically large and strong, so you may be surprised it needs replacing. They contain rubber bushings for smoother rides at the cost of eventual wear, or integrated ball joints that require replacing the entire arm when they wear.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
2009 Honda Pilot
2010 Honda Pilot
2011 Honda Pilot
2012 Honda Pilot
2013 Honda Pilot
2014 Honda Pilot
2015 Honda Pilot

The trick where you raised the suspension from the rotor really helped me get the lower ball joint free.
Is a wheel alignment necessary after replacing these parts?
Hi, getting ready to do this job on my 2009 Honda Pilot EX-L. Just wondering if you had to remove that sleeve off the ball joint and transfer to new ball joint??
You didn’t show where you cursed and used all of the profanity dictionary to separate the ball joint, those can be a PIA at times if you want to same re-use them.
Thanks for sharing, I have a 2015 and I know soon I’ll have to do maintenance.
+Gabriel Lariz Thanks for watching our video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-TRQ
I got the old one out but have issues getting the new one back in. The bushing slide in but then the ball joint doesn’t reach. When I put the ball joint the front bushing won’t go in.
Torque value for lower control arm…you used just a wrench to tighten?
ok but how do you know when you need to change all these parts? And does the control arm come with the ball joint ?
Nice video
Go ahead
Is it better to replace the entire control arm or just the large bushing? I've noticed that the bushing can be bought separately, but I'm curious about the pros and cons of each approach
Wao es increíble, tengo que aprender
How do you know it’s safe to remove any suspension parts without a spring going boing and bouncing itself to the moon?
