The Throne and Counter Force needs them at their best so it can't have them holding on to old grudges created from forgetting any personal development they had from past summons nor potential past summon regrets that will hold them back from protecting Humanity. Mordred, for example, finally developed back to a Knight of the Round thanks to remembering her experience from Fate/Apocrypha while experiencing the events of F/GO which result in her new Noble Phantasm phrase about her once again being a knight that protects her "Father" Dreams.
When you realize that there's an actual manga about this. Though EMIYA has to share the kitchen with others, since he's not the only Servant whose good at cooking.

My EMIYA came to my Chaldea pretty early. Several copies of him in fact. Pretty much ran screaming into Chaldea like a worried mom wondering if Gudako is eating and sleeping properly.
I downloaded the game 5 days ago I've only done 3 multi and he wasn't in the GSSR for newcomers, but it's ok I'm already saving for HER and I hope I'll get him while trying to get HER (if you know, you know)
When you think about it... Archer loves it at Chaldea because it's a genuine Hero Dream. Fighting against the evil that wants to destroy humanity! No fighting other Servants, no murdering lots of people because Counter Force has to take action. And then Lostbelts happen and Emiya is probably pounding the floor with his fist, crying and screaming "I KNEW IT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! SAME OLD BULLSHIT AGAIN!"

I think the 'Dark Mash' timeline would be if they DIDN'T unsummon all the Spirits in Chaldea, I can just imagine them arriving thinking it's gonna be this clean sweep.... And FUCK NOPE they literally are stomped into the dirt like trash, and then they go repair the lost belts at their origin singularity points.... So now there's no way to prevent the Mages Association from learning that Fujimaru is somehow capable of summoning, controlling, and gaining loyalty to dozens of servants. To avoid an 'all out war' that would make his Servants have to Kill regular humans, he agrees to go with them for a bit of testing, "Don't worry Mashu... I'll be back soon...." Now imagine the Servants who would NOT take news of his Death well, Sure there'd be a large number who would respect the wishes he left behind, Artoria, EMIYA, and many others of the Noble Good types.... But JAlter? Kiyohime? Raikou? Altera would become the God of Destruction again to help Mashu. Ishtar and Eresh, Quetz, Little Abigail, BB and her Alter Egos, Kiara for fucks sake.... even Gil, certainly not because he 'Valued' his Master, but Fujimaru DID fight for his Kingdom, was a Citizen of Uruk for a short time, he may have been a human Maggot, but he was HIS human Maggot, and he'd likely go from laughing at the prospect of 'Revenge' to a very COLD acknowledgement of being very upset at having something of HIS Stolen by them.... So many would Rally behind Mashu, and set the Mages Association and everything that tried to stop them aflame, they'd destroy the very world he fought to save to get Justice and Revenge.

@@RogueAngel97 I can only speak for the NA version I've played so far, and in that, he's played no role so far in the Lostbelts, even in the greater scheme of things in the original singularities, EMIYA, Saber(Artoria) and many others from their.... Earlier Works, don't seem to play MAJOR roles in the Main Questline, likely to avoid them stealing the spotlight from the PC and some of the other Original Characters developed for the Game. There are of course a few exceptions to this Mordred played a big role in both England and Camelot, Saber Nero was the focus of the Roman one, but I'm not sure if she was in game first or had her Series first. J'eanne was a focus in France. But like I said, some play roles but for whatever reason EMIYA hasn't taken on a major role for the Fate Grand Order game so far.
Finally, Archer Emiya can rediscover what it used to be like back when he was still the human known as Shirou Emiya. I know he hates his past self, but I think part of it is jealousy that his past self can be so normal.
This is the ending Shirou AND EMIYA deserve; the only way it could get better was if Rin, Illya, and Sakura were there. (Suddenly remembers that Ishtar, Magical Girl Illya, and BB exist.) Well nevermind. With them AND Saber here, Shirou wins ☺️

tbh saber alter (and the soon-to-be avenger alcides) are the only "bad" alters, most of them are just different (and some of them are technically NOT alters, Hi cu, Hi jeanne)
An alter is not necessarily evil. It's just an alternate version of a servant, a what if. Cu Alter is Cu if he was forced to become king (created by Medb wish to a holy grail); Jeanne alter is her if she lost herself in the rage of vengeance for her betrayal. That is why they can actually coexist in the same place; they basically come from alternate dimensions, but still get their saint graph registered on the throne of heroes. They also could be an hidden side of an actual servent (Saber Alter in Heaven's Feel is an example. Atalanta alter from Fate Ataraxia is another example since she can change her class using one of her noble phantasm)
I like to think EMIYA assisting in destroying Goetia made him worthy to escape the hell of Counter Guardianship and enter Avalon, where Saber is waiting for him.
Maybe saving the world with Chaldea is what really released them from the counter guardian? Even Emiya assassin. I remember seeing in Jaugar interlude of Emiya(Assassin) saying Chaldea summoning system is bullshit.

although Chaldea is probably the best resting spot for EMIYA because he no longer had to listen to Alaya command and meet his family and a become a cook, it won't do any good to Shirou if he was on the way to Avalon cuz we all know the REAL saber is in Avalon, Chaldea simply summoned the copy version of a servant.
