He reacts completely differently in FGO though. His interlude is basically him acting as a teacher for the MC. Plus, all his servant interactions are very positive. He acts like adult Shirou and not "I'm trying to murder my past self and I have a plan for that." so that's why he's way more likable.

Remember, his first act in F/SN is to tell Rin to hole up someplace safe and to leave everything to him, albeit in a very aggravating way. And in every single route with the exception of UBW, he dies a heroic death, sacrificing himself to save others. It's just that Shirou and EMIYA bring out the worst of each other's personality when placed next to each other. Also, he's actually getting to save the world and it's people, which probably has him in a good mood, unlike his usual CG business.

Man how I love Emiya's character in every single iteration, seeing that even after being forced to carry on a tragic and inescapable existance, yet he's still able to offer his help to others in ways that he love in Chaldea. It gives me a warmth feeling to see Emiya share some moments of ephemeral peace along with some other fellow servants even if they have different views on his story and current self, learning also to appreciate the kind of man that he is.
Robin Hood’s line is interesting because it reminds me how in fate stay night Shirou would stupidly rush into danger a lot goes to show that no matter how much time passes his days as a kid aspiring to be a hero will always be a part of him
He probably rush to front in this case because another Archer (Robin Hood) was already in the same party so he doesn't have to worry about Master safety.
Well, if you read the VN, you'd know that Shirou is self-destructive for the sake of others to the point that his life means little to nothing to him. "Emiya Shirou", the boy in that fire, is *gone* replaced by a facsimile of broken ideals warped by guilt. He's not reckless. He's subconsciously suicidal because he has no sense of "self". Imagine Himura Kenshin taken to the extreme and without the wisdom of age to tamper him, but rather than trauma that shatters his beliefs into pieces, it shatters his personality to the core.
The Valkyries talking about "send him to Valhalla" actually sounds like metaphor for me even though it's not, At least they not send him into Shadow Realm, lol

Surprised Kerry and irisviel don't have a line for him. Kerry has talked to emiya before when irisviel was shadowing him. Also ishtar is pretty much the only girl who Recognized all the Shirou faces aside sitonai as they care for him most looking deeper than the other two. Odysseus is something I want to see more interactions with as it would give more details on emiyas world and Ajax. Don't really care for Hindu servant interaction with emiya while the ccc cast is nice as a whole

Probably because Astraea here is maybe a future version of Luvia that was possessed. If that's the case, wouldn't it be plausible for her to see the older Shirou. The others don't remember/ address him in a direct manner is because of the time their bodies are possessed by the servants. while the Sakura faces just remembering him from the time in the mooncell.
He joined the fight in the past to do some "clean up" saw ajax do cool shit with rho aias and thus he become a simp and trace it. That's pretty much what happened. Whether he learnt directly or indirectly from Ajax is unknown but that is what probably happen. Like "Boi, that is one beautiful flower shield, imma gonna china copy made out of it" and thus we get rho aias with less flower shield.
Alaya sends him throughout time if Humanity exists in that time then yes he'll be sent there as long as the condition is met. Who knows Ajax probably isn't the only person he saw and traced the weapon or equipment.

Most likely when fate extra record will be out. I hope that they add a similar use of projection as chloe and/ or Muramasa. As for the np, in the old animation you could see caladbolg among the project swords. In extella link he use aestus estus, durandal, joyeuse, gae bolg and galatine. In unlimited codes he use gram, durandal, dainsleif and houtengeki. And in the the ubw route, in the vn, among the many weapons he project to kill medea we can spot durandal, gae bolg and dainsleif. I hope they can add those either in the swords barrels or in ubw.
Funny thing, that... the 5th Summer Event shows that EMIYA and Sigurd get along just fine, albeit with EMIYA in a *much* more Shirou-like appearance/mindset while wearing that casual outfit plus glasses, playing the role of a college-aged sempai to Ritsuka and Mash.
Valhalla is a place with basically a lot of food and partys and you also fight and train forever while waiting for Ragnarok. Since in Fate Ragnarok already happened...Valhalla probably doesn't exist anymore.

Remember, his first act in F/SN is to tell Rin to hole up someplace safe and to leave everything to him, albeit in a very aggravating way. And in every single route with the exception of UBW, he dies a heroic death, sacrificing himself to save others. It's just that Shirou and EMIYA bring out the worst of each other's personality when placed next to each other. Also, he's actually getting to save the world and it's people, which probably has him in a good mood, unlike his usual CG business.

Yeah I always interpreted it like Emiya making a call for a heroic spirit with the trash card and since his own body is conected to EMIYA, he seeing his determination to save his little sister above everything else, decided to lend his power

Man how I love Emiya's character in every single iteration, seeing that even after being forced to carry on a tragic and inescapable existance, yet he's still able to offer his help to others in ways that he love in Chaldea.

Robin Hood’s line is interesting because it reminds me how in fate stay night Shirou would stupidly rush into danger a lot goes to show that no matter how much time passes his days as a kid aspiring to be a hero will always be a part of him

Well, if you read the VN, you'd know that Shirou is self-destructive for the sake of others to the point that his life means little to nothing to him. "Emiya Shirou", the boy in that fire, is *gone* replaced by a facsimile of broken ideals warped by guilt. He's not reckless. He's subconsciously suicidal because he has no sense of "self". Imagine Himura Kenshin taken to the extreme and without the wisdom of age to tamper him, but rather than trauma that shatters his beliefs into pieces, it shatters his personality to the core.

The thing is Emiya at first glance is relatively weak but has more ways to make your life hell except for Gilgamesh he has a better way of utilizing his options.
He's a true generalist servant. Decent to great at just about everything with no real crippling weaknesses.

Probably because Astraea here is maybe a future version of Luvia that was possessed. If that's the case, wouldn't it be plausible for her to see the older Shirou. The others don't remember/ address him in a direct manner is because of the time their bodies are possessed by the servants. while the Sakura faces just remembering him from the time in the mooncell.

He joined the fight in the past to do some "clean up" saw ajax do cool shit with rho aias and thus he become a simp and trace it. That's pretty much what happened.
Whether he learnt directly or indirectly from Ajax is unknown but that is what probably happen.
Like "Boi, that is one beautiful flower shield, imma gonna china copy made out of it" and thus we get rho aias with less flower shield.
Alaya sends him throughout time if Humanity exists in that time then yes he'll be sent there as long as the condition is met. Who knows Ajax probably isn't the only person he saw and traced the weapon or equipment.
