Your noise is from driveshaft deflexion, the cross member on the frames of them old truck frames could have been bent towards the rear, you may want winch the entire transfer case forward towards the front of the truck, this can be accomplished by simply wrapping a chain around the frame and cross member then winch the entire unit forward.
You may want to secure the back of the truck to something solid to prevent the truck from rolling, also remove your driveshafts. Run your cable from a tow truck snach blocked off the back of a tow truck under the engine bay past your transmission to the lowest point of your transfer case which is chained hook to cable and winch forward to 35 clock position. The transfer case is not your problem.
    You're problem will be solved!
With this method your chatter noise will be eliminated.

205 is so much better than these new models with a chain drive !

The one night I go to bed early and a new Yoshi vid drops. Needle bearings make me shiver. Whomever came up with caged needle bearings should receive a Nobel Prize.

That was a good video. Watching as I'm turning my 82 E350 into a 4x4, and I need to swap the front yoke for the cv type.

This one went pretty smooth. Once I dropped a load of needle bearings on the floor, but the camera wasn't running. Another time I put the shift shaft in but not through the shift fork. I didn't realize it immediately, so didn't swear much about it.

It's just a cheap harbor freight 12 ton. I'd like the next size up, but I just don't have the space for it
