- It's been a while since I last did a motovlog setup, this time it will be for the new X-lite X803RS Ultra Carbon. At the same time will be transferring the Cardo intercom since I need to communicate with @RideWithVee.

I will try and ask them, not sure if they will be able to share, as it's not recommended for end user to modify the EPS themselves..
thank you! I understand very well what you mean when it comes to cutting the polystyrene of the helmet, if I had to do it myself, I would have made the cut exactly where the service people did it, but I didn't find the right tool for it.

Mind if I ask where you bought the helmet? I want the X-803 RS and want to add my cardo unit in it as well, sadly they don't have dedicated speaker slots.
Yes from factory there's no speaker slot. The local distributor here in Malaysia can do it for customer upon request, you can contact Gomoto Experience Lab on social media for more information.

The speaker slots? The authorized dealer drilled the slots in the foam for the speakers to fit into.. I could only show the end result with the slots already made.

The insert slot was done by the local Nolan dealer here in Malaysia, I'm not exactly sure how they do it, probably with an electric drill with a specialised head to bore a slot.

Hi, it's a Sony ECM DS70P microphone, my last motovlog clip has the riding sound just slightly cleaned up you can check that out to hear how the sound is like..

how do you mount the speakers? do i need to cut at all?
Yes slots were made to install them. The speaker slots were made by the authorized shop which were trained to make the modification on the foam.
no chin guard?
The helmet comes with a chin curtain, but I don't use it.
