Even if this game didn’t do well as its predecessor or even its sequel it should’ve still been in the Budokai HD Collection
I was ticked when I found out. I decided not to buy. Why didn't people like it?
StoryTeller Because it wasn't true to the animé and had the board game story mode instead.
Which I think is a stupid reason to not include it, I'm personally tired of the same story mode almost every single game.
Wrong guys it wasn't included because kenji yamamoto was caught plagarising in Dragon Ball Kai and he also composed budokai 1 2 and 3

dbzkaikikuchirevival section No, we're talking about the game Budokai 2, which was completely omitted from the HD Collection. Yamamoto had nothing to do with it as he worked on all 3, and 1 and 3 had their soundtracks changed.

This intro is sung by the great Hironobu Kageyama and the music written by the legendary Steve Lukather (!!!), Simon Philips and Mike Porcaro (RIP), all former members of Toto.
This game introduced me to Dragonball. It doesn't have to be canon, Budokai 3 wasn't canon, take a look at THAT opening (it is insanity). This game has a special place in my heart.

Lmfao, I remember in 2003 being 8 years old and constantly beating my older brother who was 16 at the time in the versus mode.
He made me keep playing until he beat me. So I pretended to lose, and he wasnt buying it. So we kept playing until he genuinely beat me. My friend wasn’t happy because she wanted to play with me.

I don't know why they kept failing at 0:50, their hand poses were pretty much symetrical
Its probably a mistake they made before that pose. Remember the entire dance has be gone with perfect symmetry, not just the end part.
Its also based on power level. Goten has to raise his power to the max while trunks has to hold back a bit because he has slightly more power since he was born first and is slightly stronger than Goten
