good art styles transcend time and they generally age well. Realism from before the last 4 years of games doesnt age well because technology was rapidly increasing. take cod for example. those games look so damn dated, but compare it to zelda: wind waker from 2002 - that game still looks amazing to this day because it wasn't going for realism

This game had so much potential, the gameplay was fast and fluent and the graphics themselves we're amazing. All the game needed was a lot more content and this would of been the best 2D DBZ game or the best DBZ game ever made if you ask me. I say it may even be better than Budokai 3 and Tenkaichi 3 if it just had way more content.

And then, in the next morning, my father gave it to me as a christmas present. And my cousin gave me some games. I was watching the games until I found one that particularly caught my attention. The name of that game was Dragon Ball Z: Burst limit. So, I decided to play it, and I had lots of fun, and between my 6 and 10 years old. I just played that beautiful game. And on my 7 years old I started to like Dragon Ball and started watching the show, (Yeah, I live in Portugal and the series we're in air between 1989 till 2015. But it was later replaced by Super.) Which made me love more Dragon Ball. So Dragon Ball changed my life. And I wanna thank it for making me have so much fun both watching and playing :). PS: Sorry for my bad english :D
Ins4ner Horror damn Wow So I was also 6 and my dad bought me an Xbox 360 and he bought a game called burst limit I played it at first I was bad at the game so I didn’t care a lot fast forward to when I was 8 my dad bought me the game again I was like I feel like I’ve played it before I played it I was better at it cause I would play street fighter And when I played the game I was blown away on how the game was so I did the story mode it felt really long but then I realized this wasn’t all the sagas but I didn’t mind So that’s how my fandom started now I am 14 8 years of dragon ball z 6 to 14 years old
For me this was one of my dads old games from his 360 history, I regret nothing and he basically passed everything down from his gaming history to us, me and my sibling. In the end I ended up with it and I still play the system to this day
Instead of doing Xenoverse 3 they should do a Burst Limite 2 or another game that recreates the original story, Burst Limit is the best DBZ game adaptation, the cutscenes are really well made and gameplay is good too, if it only had Buu saga...
Okay to me the cutscenes in this game are lacking as "most" repeat the EXACT SAME cinematic scenes over and over again but with different character models.

why do people hate this game? This is LITERALLY Budokai 4. It plays like Budokai 3, it feels like an improved version of Budokai 3. The problem is the lack of content. Not enough options or characters. But that is why people make sequels. Burst Limit is far better than Raging Blast, Ultimate Tenkaichi or the awful Battle of Z. Its a great game, the successor of Budokai 3, the best DBZ game of this gen and also the most underrated DBZ game ever.

I think its the issue of not wanting to completely redo the music. The Budokai 1 and 3 remaster had to have the music completely redone because the original composer (that worked on the games between Budokai 1 and Raging Blast 2) got sacked for plagiarism.

I remember when I got my first ps3 at age 7 and this game came out around that time, and it was the first game I owned for the ps3, man I can still remember getting home from school heading into Christmas break and seeing the PS3 box with Burst limit right next to it. The best gameplay and the best graphics in the whole series, the only bad thing in this game is the short story. I think they must make a game with this gameplay and graphics, with all the Dragon Ball, DBZ and DBGT stories and important characters. Enough said.

I remember when I got my first ps3 at age 7 and this game came out around that time, and it was the first game I owned for the ps3, man I can still remember getting home from school heading into Christmas break and seeing the PS3 box with Burst limit right next to it. Man this opening and this game was so fun

This game, in my opinion, was and still is the best DBZ game ever. It gave me feels when Goku and bardock fought in the story mode.
The best gameplay and the best graphics in the whole series, the only bad thing in this game is the short story. I think they must make a game with this gameplay and graphics, with all the Dragon Ball, DBZ and DBGT stories and important characters. Enough said.
Xenoverse looks awesome
