The thing with piercings is you’re not just paying for the aesthetic. You’re paying for safety, hygiene, and quality jewelry. The reason it’s so “expensive” is because you’re seeing someone who’s fully qualified to do this procedure safely and not send you to the hospital; if you don’t have the money, you’re not going to get it done safe.
This! The shop I go to does strictly piercings and have private sanitized rooms. I pay around $35-60 depending on the piercing, but the real cost is the high grade jewelry they use. Its all implant grade titanium, silver, and gold. All body safe, all cleaned in an autoclave before the piercing is done. Oh and no matter what piecing it is, they have us lay down after marking so we don't move or in case we pass out. The cost is definitely worth it. I'll take a $100 piercing over a $4000 medical bill any day.
@@rapunzelsempaiexactly as a teenage girl my mom will literally pay for all my piercings bc she NEVER wants me to do it on my own I have like 8 piercings and they have all been professionally done and amazing!!
RIGHT! I always tell ppl to think of APP piercers as doctors. Since they don't just only learn about what/how to pierce. They learn the safety, sterilization, cleaning, etc etc. So it kind of is like being a "Dr" just for piercings. Same thing applies for ANY body modifications.
I was worried for that dog more than anything. I'm fairly certain that you're not supposed to stand up while getting your bellybutton pierced. Lol I was worried she was gonna flinch, or worse pass out and drop the poor pup.
Note to self: no dermals anywhere I could get something stuck. Which rules out............everywhere. Neck and face = Hair hands clothes everything. Upper arms = clothing and bags. Lower arms and hands = anything I hold and carry, or cooking. Torso = bras, clothing, everything. Butt or genitals = why? Upper legs = clothing, strings on ripped jeans. Don't care about having oral piercings or about them doing like themselves? Because it's absolutely perfectly fine to have many different oral piercings. But the important part about that is being AWARE of ALL the risks that come with ANY piercing. A lot of ppl are aware of the risks but don't care. That's actually why oral piercings are a thing. But there are also ppl who aren't so aware because they don't care to listen. That's where it's a concern in my opinion.

A little piece of info I found out from an APP piercer in a piercing discord server, at a recent conference they updated the info after finding that a majority of people aren’t actually able to heal stretches in shorter than 6 months ! Ofc it’s different for everyone, but actually a large amount of people will need to wait 6 months or more. Also dead stretching is the best method, and unfortunately with tapering it increases the risk of stretching too fast and tearing your earlobes (if you used a taper this may have contributed to the tears). Anyway, good luck with your lobes 😭😭 wish you the best

Whatever.” I about launched out of my chair at the disrespect toward my girl! 😡 When will we finally be rid of snake eyes?!
It’s crazy to me that kids will be like “oh if a professional won’t do it then I will…at school, by myself, with no gloves, and probably in the bathroom” and then act surprised when they cock it up or god forbid it gets infected, especially if it’s the tongue. I wouldn’t want my cause of death to be from a self piercing in a school bathroom 😭

Body modification at home sounds like a one-way trip to the hospital if you're lucky. I can understand being nervous when getting a new piercing but take a deep breath and do your best not to move around too much. If I ever got a second earlobe piercing, I would just close my eyes and stay still. Flinching a little is fine but freaking out when it's just the marker to mark the new piercing hole isn't okay.

Hey Roly! Just wanted to say thank you. Because of your videos I have went to a professional piercing studio and got my ears repierced! I appreciate your funny commentary and your advice about piercings
my ears look similar to yours but i have no face piercings; my dentist adores my piercings but always makes sure to remind me to never get a mouth piercing if i value my enamel😅
Being diabetic I do one at a time, make sure I take care of it and the first sign of any infection it's OUT. Take care of yourself. Make sure your blood sugar isn't out of proper range. Eat, keep your glucose tabs handy. Pay for a Good Piecer. Two 0 stretches in the lower lobes and two standard just above them. Took a while. No rush.
my sister when she turned 18 wanted to get her septum done at a claires at the mall, i had to practically drag her out of there and took her to the studio i usually go to. it was $50 more expensive but i wasn't about to let my sister get her septum done with a gun by someone who hasn't been properly trained to do piercings
I've watched your videos before but this video definitely got my subscription lmao the final decision was made when you went off on "why are people so dumb" lmao
Oh god no, I stretched my septum up to 2mm, which is objectively tiny. I did it safely and slowly, it took me around a year, but it was still SO painful and when the ring fell out and it shrank I took that as a sign from the universe lmao. I'd never do it again, so imagining it being that big is just wild. That doesn't even cover how uncomfortable it could be having it stretched, knocking it even after it was healed was super uncomfortable! It was wild.
i’ve been watching you for a couple years now and i started dead stretching my conch bc i am OBSESSED with your conch punch, im at 3.5mm right now and im so excited for when i reach bigger sizes love your content man
I've done most of my piercings myself but im planning to get the rest done professionally- i did mine as a dumb young 14-15 yr old and i dont regret them, ( thankfully my dad is a surg tech so i know proper sanitation) no infections or anything. But i wanted to get piercings in the first place because of Roly and couldnt afford to get them done at a tatto/piercer. These videos have a lot of good info and safety is always top priority. you finally posted piercing fails again roly! It honestly felt like forever and especially since I’ve been having such bad days recently and this has really cheered me up ❤
Hey Roly! Just wanted to say thank you. Because of your videos I have went to a professional piercing studio and got my ears repierced! I appreciate your funny commentary and your advice about piercings
I love that you used scenes from The Others after watching your last episode 🤣
The Cthulhu bulbasaur shirt is so awesome! Love your videos, Roly, and playing catch up with the rest! You’re great!
THIS VIDEO LIT UP MY DAY!!!! ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO OF ROLY!! 🔥 ❤
Sending hugs!

The fact that these videos are so entertaining😮
my ears look similar to yours but i have no face piercings; my dentist adores my piercings but always makes sure to remind me to never get a mouth piercing if i value my enamel😅
I would never Pierce myself at home let alone split my tongue some ppl have no fear 😧
Oh it’s totally unhinged
Being diabetic I do one at a time, make sure I take care of it and the first sign of any infection it's OUT. Take care of yourself. Make sure your blood sugar isn't out of proper range. Eat, keep your glucose tabs handy. Pay for a Good Piecer. Two 0 stretches in the lower lobes and two standard just above them. Took a while. No rush.
OMFG your shirt
my sister when she turned 18 wanted to get her septum done at a claires at the mall, i had to practically drag her out of there and took her to the studio i usually go to. it was $50 more expensive but i wasn't about to let my sister get her septum done with a gun by someone who hasn't been properly trained to do piercings
ROLYYYY i just got my first tattoo today for my 18th birthday x
Oh amazing! Happy healing & happy birthday
I've watched your videos before but this video definitely got my subscription lmao the final decision was made when you went off on "why are people so dumb" lmao
Omg! I love that bulbathulu shirt!
I laugh every time you say, "And that's how she died."🤣🤣🤣
Oh god no, I stretched my septum up to 2mm, which is objectively tiny. I did it safely and slowly, it took me around a year, but it was still SO painful and when the ring fell out and it shrank I took that as a sign from the universe lmao. I'd never do it again, so imagining it being that big is just wild. That doesn't even cover how uncomfortable it could be having it stretched, knocking it even after it was healed was super uncomfortable! It was wild.
i’ve been watching you for a couple years now and i started dead stretching my conch bc i am OBSESSED with your conch punch, im at 3.5mm right now and im so excited for when i reach bigger sizes
love your content man
My friend has 2 healed industrial piercings that she did her self. I am so jealous 😂
Dayum.
21:00 I think the "piss liquid" as you called it, MIGHT be turmeric oil. Turmeric apparently helps with wound healing.
My first thought was iodine but it was very turmeric colored
Could also be betadine, which can be an orange-yellow.
My first time seeing your channel and i THRIVE for your energy 🤭🫶
The T’s are always giving me life!!!!! 👾🌱👹🫶🏻
"Im just going to will my body to heal" he really just called me out 😂😂
Hey Rolyshweeadoo x
I'm currently getting into the spooky spirit.... bring in the darkness haha x
Loved the video x
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@RolyWestYT 😊❤️
I've done most of my piercings myself but im planning to get the rest done professionally- i did mine as a dumb young 14-15 yr old and i dont regret them, ( thankfully my dad is a surg tech so i know proper sanitation) no infections or anything. But i wanted to get piercings in the first place because of Roly and couldnt afford to get them done at a tatto/piercer. These videos have a lot of good info and safety is always top priority. GET PIERCED PROFESSIONALLY!!!
I'm GAGGED I've never been this early beforeeeeee
Haha welcome to the early club x
damn, that nassallang made me feel the same vicarious pain, as the video of the people putting ink under their fingernails with a syringe
Posted just in time to watch during my lunch break 😊😊
after watching this i’m so proud of my friend for doing my doubles and triples on both sides of my ears in one shot, perfect placement and healing
Saw tongue splitting and instantly clicked 😅
Enjoy 😂😂😂
